I have still not hatched a Vulpix! I know they’re the rarest of all the Alolan eggs, but still

Of the 33 Alolan eggs I’ve hatched so far, I’ve received 8 Alolan Rattata, 10 Sandshrew, 10 Meowth and 5 Grimer.

Got another 9 on the go as well though so fingers crossed for a Vulpix 🤞

I’ve hatched some good ones, though. 96% Rattata, two 96% Sandshrew, 93% Meowth and a 98% and a 96% Grimer.

Marking my place, before i lose you again!

I'm now level 36, it's taking ages to level up now. I've limited the number of friends I've accepted to 25 at the moment, good news was that one of them was on holiday in Thailand at the time so I have a few Thai meowths ready to trade 😁

I've hatched 10 meowths, 3 grimers, and 6 sandshrews so far. No sign of a vulpix yet.

TangelasVine I’ve never heard that theory and I’ve looked for evidence online... of which there is none. The egg drop rate is what it is; when you spin a PokeStop there’s no way for them to know what eggs you’ve already got in order to give you more of the same.

It’s really rather illogical and nonsensical

I’ve never noticed the blue shadow! I also didn’t know about Pokestops you haven’t visited having a white ring around it.

Mumsnet taught me about there being male/female versions. Clearly I’m not very observant.

Whattodo that's not what I meant. I meant the urban myth that once you have one 10k in your bag but not incubating you get more.
Possibly bit outing but I actually am a statistician but still enjoy these theories

Ooh I’ve got a 10km egg, I’ve never had one before. Should something good come out of it?

Kraggle I’ve attached a picture of all the Pokemon currently in 10km eggs, so you can see what you might hatch

There's a theory that if you leave the 10k egg in your bag you'll get more fairly quickly.

TangelasVine No, it’s not random chance. 5km eggs are the most likely to drop from PokeStops with a 71% chance, while 2km eggs have a 21.8% chance and 10km eggs have a 12.1% chance.

This is of course your general gameplay. Sometimes events come along and influence the egg drop rates (like the water festival heavily increasing 2km drops).

There's been a bit of gift drama on some of the Facebook groups. I don't really understand it as it's something you get for free from pokestops and many people aren't near that many stops. If it's a little bonus for the more remote players to get some more items then great.

There's XP for each friendship level too plus I find the postcards hilarious.

I suspect a lot of people will be trimming their friends lists if they added loads of random people at the start.

Also was in That London yesterday so had a big gift giving sesh. Hopefully you all got one.
A couple of people deleted me which is quite amusing. Not from here I don't think.
