Here’s a clearer picture of the Pokémon that were found in the Network Traffic Smile

More great news - several Pokémon have been added to the Network Traffic including Smeargle (Gen II), Deoxys (Gen III), Clampearl (Gen III) and Nincada (Gen III)!

This means that apart from Celebi (which we know is the next special research quest), once Smeargle is added, all Pokemon from Gen I and II are in the game.

There are still ten Pokémon from Gen III that have not been added into the game, so hopefully with this news, we’ll get them soon Smile

Great news! Another day event has been announced as a reward for the bonuses unlocked during the Chicago fest Smile

It is expected to be another three hour raid window of either Zapdos or Moltres, following in from the Articuno day that’s just been, but it’s not officially confirmed.

6 is enough to defeat Mewtwo so if there was more than 20, they could have divided into teams and got the extra ball for damage.

SirNilsOlav · 10/07/2018 18:02

The group for the city I work in part of the time has started a blanket policy that they go in 5 mins after ex raid start and that's it (unless you arrange your own later group).

It seems quite mean on the surface but the explanation given was that for one ex raid they had to jump out five times for latecomers and then three of the people there (including a ten year old) from the start ended up getting kicked out and couldn't get back in, which is equally unfair.

Got a hundo sparky hound!

I walked a different way to the shops to hit some different pokestops, yesterday, and not one gave me a gift. OTOH, I got 2 from the same stop, today and that stop always gives me a gift.

Ive spun so many stops today and not got a single gift to send out! Sorry to anyone who has added me if I don't send gifts today!

dillite That’s a shame they wouldn’t exit the lobby.

Perhaps some of the people had somewhere to be afterwards so couldn’t be late, or they already had 20 in the group. Exiting and reentering the lobby can sometimes be a bit of a faff if people can’t get back in or have server issues.

dillite · 10/07/2018 07:52

raining no, they wouldn't exit the lobby. I thought it quite mean as well. I had even left a message on raid group's facebook page asking for them to wait for her arrival. But hey, that's life.

We didn't do articuno day as I was dying from a migrane and just couldn't bear another day in the sun.

Sorry, I was at a friends and couldn’t explain properly before, but here’s a good explanation of a Pokemon’s Level:

A Pokémon’s level determines how much of its potential it is allowed to fulfill. It limits how strong it is now, compared to how strong that same Pokémon potentially could be. It is currently the only thing that you can change about a Pokémon’s fighting ability once you have caught it.

Every time that you Power Up, the only affect that it has is an increase of 0.5 to your Pokémon Level. This means that you must Power Up your Pokémon two times to increase it by one Pokémon Level. The maximum that you can Power Up your Pokémon is to 1.5 Levels above your current Trainer Level.

When you catch a Pokémon in a raid, it will always be Level 20 unless it is weather boosted, in which case it will always be Level 25.

Once you are Level 20 and over, all Pokemon from eggs you hatch are Level 20.

Once you are Level 30, if you are PokeHunting with a friend and you both click on the same Pokémon, it will be exactly the same CP, level and stats for both of you (shinies still remain independent, but the stats will be exactly the same).

The Pokémon rewarded from research quests are all Level 15, which is disappointingly low.

I would always advise anyone to think very carefully before powering up a Pokemon below Level 20, as the stardust and candy cost will be even higher.

It costs 75,000 dust and 66 candies to take a Pokemon from Level 20 to Level 30, and if you were to take a Pokemon from Level 15 to Level 30 it would cost you 96,400 dust and 86 candies.

So you really have to weigh up if it’s worth it as it is more expensive. Most of the time I would say it’s not.

Hope this helps Smile

SneakyGremlins · 09/07/2018 21:07

My Kyogre is level 26 apparently!

WhatToDoAboutWailmerGoneRogue · 09/07/2018 20:57

Yeah, a Pokemon’s Level increases every time it’s powered up. The further across the bar is, the higher the Pokemon’s Level.

It tells you in PokeGenie what level it is Smile

Efferlunt · 09/07/2018 20:52

I’d never understood the Pokémon level thing either.

SneakyGremlins · 09/07/2018 20:49

Pokémon have level??

WhatToDoAboutWailmerGoneRogue · 09/07/2018 20:46

Wailmer is the "LV 32" Your level?

SneakyGremlins No, I’m level 37 Smile

I name all my Pokemon with their IV percentage and level to make it easier when clearing out.

OrianaBanana · 09/07/2018 20:43

Its level I presume.

Woohoo! I caught a shiny Meditite!

I caught 5 shiny, 29 with shades and 4 shiny with shades.

rainingcatsanddog · 09/07/2018 18:56

Pretty mean not to exit the lobby. Last Mewtwo raid had someone who was 10 minutes late and people waited despite being on their lunch break and having limited time. (There were 4 groups which entered public lobby one by one) Did you hit lots of EX Raid eligible gyms on Articuno day?

SneakyGremlins · 09/07/2018 18:43

Please help, I've just appraised and IV checked 285 Pokémon and can't feel my thumbs

dillite · 09/07/2018 16:28

How was everyone's community day? I will go back and read, but thought I would ask simply out of politeness as well. We did well, caught over 100 squirtles, 5 shinies, several critters in sunnies. I had never seen this many pomemon go players! The high street was full of people on their phones. We also finally hatched an alolan vulpix! It was such joy after all of the rattatas and meowths.

We didn't get the mewtwo though. I couldn't leave work early so asked my brother to take DD to the raid. They arrived after everyone had entered the lobby, literally 1 minute late so DD couldn't join in. She was DEVASTATED. There were so many tears. She's still not talking to him now. He obviously doesn't give a shit as it's just a game. Hopefully we will get another ex pass one day, I will make sure to be off then.

No you're right it was introduced in Gen 2 of the original games (for all but a very few pokemon) so not ALWAYS like I previously said. But it does feel like it's been always.

it's certainly been around for a long time.

TangelasVine · 09/07/2018 14:06

I remember the gender coming into the game too as I then started trying to get one of each.
