This coming community day is on my birthday but I'm not excited about mareep. I hatched so many of them in a row from eggs at te start of Gen 2 that I had no idea they were even supposed to be rare until other people started talking about not having them.

I feel personally let down by niantic on my birthday haha.

I guess the shiny will be ok but the best part will be the 4x faster hatching tbh. And also the fact that by then we should have field research tasks to be doing too.

Mareep will do for me, although I already have Ampharos and enough candy for another. Shiny mareep, Flaafy and ampharos would be great though. Roll on 15th April.

I've just hatched enough Mareep to evolve to Ampharos, however the possibility of shinies, extra powering up candy and reduced walking distance means it will still be very worthwhile!

Just googled and discovered that the one with flowing locks is the mega evolution. Was confused why there was 4.

And I'd just started 'Walking' Mareep as I am still without an Ampharos. Think I'll switch to someone more deserving.

We recently had a Charmander nest near my house so I'm a bit fed up with the little orange monsters but yes, that or Squirtle would be obvious.

I hope it is Charmander, I've got a 100% Charmeleon and nowhere near enough candy to evolve and power it up. On the other hand, I'm drowning in Eevee candy and most of it's evolutions aren't actually that good.

I'm also very excited about the quests, just what the game needs!

the most persistent rumour I've heard is that it will be Charmander, but it's just rumour so far I think.

Excited about the research tasks. Have been saying for ages that individual tasks was what the game needed to keep people interested and with something to drive for.

I'm hoping the next community day is either Squirtle or Charmander Smile. Would feel a bit odd to have a day dedicated to Bulbasaur, but not to the other two starters.

I really hope it’s not Magikarp. I’ve had three Magikarp shinies and see them everywhere as it is! I would love it to be Larvitar as I have a 100% one but not enough candies to fully evolve.

Our local group would love next month's community day to feature Magikarp. Only 2 of us have a Red Gary, and only I have a spare shiny Flappyfish. I really want them to stop hating me :o
