Yeah, I know I'm scraping the barrel now... :o But at least you get an earworm.

Still just keeping up the streaks, but yesterday I HATCHED A SNORLAX. That's No2, and I have 40 Snorlax candy.

I get it re grinding up Pikachus, it just feels wrong. I do it though, 'cos I'm heartless. Wink

Lots of people are predicting an Unown event at some point in the future. Which'll probably be my first chance at nabbing one Grin They don't hatch, nest and have a really low spawn rate. I'd love to get one!

I nearly died when I got it. Then the realisation there are 25 other Unown to catch.

I will never get the badges for completing the set.

Caught my first Electabuzz this morning- not very exciting for most but it's the first I've ever encountered, caught it first time Smile not the best appraisal but not dreadful either.

Oddish, it means you haven't spun it yet- or at least you haven't spun it since the gym system was updated (in fact a few days after that, as at first it didn't work and the rings didn't disappear). It's a way of getting trainers to explore a bit more. You get a small xpbonus when you spin one for the 'first' time.

No worries Smile The higher you are, the better rewards you get. So it's worth interacting with gyms to try to increase your badges.

Yes I have a silver badge now at that gym, I didn't realise your gym badges can be increased and was looking at the defending gym medal below for different levels. That's exciting, thank you for your help!

likeazebra Just looked it up. The blue bar doesn't go down; it only goes up as you get nearer to the next level:

You can check your progress to the next level by going back to the badge section on your trainer profile: there’s a little blue bar underneath each badge. The higher your gym badge at any given gym, the better items you’ll get.

My gym badges all have different size blue lines and one of the gyms I have a mon in had a blue line just over halfway full earlier this evening but when I looked before it had no blue. Strange.
