Yeah, I know I'm scraping the barrel now... :o But at least you get an earworm.

Still just keeping up the streaks, but yesterday I HATCHED A SNORLAX. That's No2, and I have 40 Snorlax candy.

I get it re grinding up Pikachus, it just feels wrong. I do it though, 'cos I'm heartless. Wink

Got my first zapdos on the second attempt and evolved my second Ampharos (first decent iv one) today so I'm happy :)

NikiBabe · 08/08/2017 16:37

I got my cousin in Australia to catch me a kanga and went back in after about 3 hours. I havent had a problem in almost 3 months.

I also have a friend in NYC and my Tauros is months and months old. I cant remember how long I stayed out for.

Im not bothered about anything else as it looks as though the regionals will all have events here anyway.

eyebrowsonfleek · 08/08/2017 16:19

Niki- I like to play it safe and calculating all the time differences is complicated.

I really don't think that they will automatically slash all Pokémon caught in Regional Hunters. Lots of people have more than one phone. (Work and private) No reason why someone might go on holiday to Florida and catch Corsola etc there while their work phone stays in the U.K. and is answered by the person covering their leave. You can ask people to catch them in person rather than spoof. While they may be able to tell if a catch was in person or by spoofing, they probably can't tell if it is the account holder or MrsHelpful's finger who got the ball.

I really don't think that Niantic have a big team dealing with spoofers. Every 4 and 5 star raid Ive been to has included people not playing in person (spoofers) and every hardcore player will recognize the names of spoofers who are in their local gyms.

It's easy to find people selling PoGo accounts on eBay. If Niantic cared about fraud, that would be an easy place to start.

Cakedoesntjudge - they spawn in the m25 area. Bushey is popular with our FB group.

That poster is right; it is only a matter of time before all the cheated Pokemon are slashed.

Soubriquet · 08/08/2017 15:03

Bit of a coincidence here but someone has posted on po-go regionals

"How old is this group? The reason I ask, is one of my friends says it's only a matter of time before all my caught Pokemon from here are slashed"

General consensus seems to be that no, they won't be slashed unless it's a botted account

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 08/08/2017 14:56

They'll have an entire team of people dedicated to catching cheaters; that's how they get round to everyone eventually.

NikiBabe · 08/08/2017 14:52

Who knows but with that many players I cant believe they have time to retrospectively audit that many accounts.

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 08/08/2017 14:42

NikiBabe Like I said, it will probably be months and months before you get caught (there are a lot of players after all, and far too many willing to cheat), but it will happen.

Cakedoesntjudge · 08/08/2017 14:24

Also one of the people in our group had a second spoofing account which I judged but quietly so because it helped in some raids no one else showed up to shameless self interest. He had got away with it for AGES (set it up to run automatically pretty much from the word go) and was only actively using it for legendary raids. But he got caught last week and had all but 5 of the Pokémon (and there were HUNDREDS) struck out so I really don't think it's worth it. They'll catch you in a ban wave sooner or later.

Cakedoesntjudge · 08/08/2017 14:21

I looked into train tickets to get to London which would be the closest one to me and it's extortionate 😔 I am, however, fully debating driving to the outskirts one day considering my car is dirt cheap to fill and seeing if I can find somewhere to park! As apparently they're popping up in the outskirts too if I've read that right? Just about to go Zapdos raiding with both DP and DS for a couple of hours - wish us luck!

NikiBabe · 08/08/2017 14:10

Well I got back from Perth in Australia in 2 hours over 2 months ago.

No issues.

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 08/08/2017 13:32

eyebrowsonfleek is right. You do need to take in the travel time or they will flag it up. Not straight away, maybe not for a few weeks, but they will and those Pokemon caught will become slashed.

Soubriquet · 08/08/2017 13:06

If you don't mind Niki id be happy for you to try.

I've just logged out now so if I send you my details via PM we should be able to say any time from 3

RueDeWakening · 08/08/2017 13:04

I am in the Pokemon wilderness Sad the closest pokestop is about 8 miles away, gym more like 20.

Niantic better offer them again...please?

NikiBabe · 08/08/2017 13:03

But i dont know if in the same country logging straight back in is ok

NikiBabe · 08/08/2017 13:02

Thats not true eyebrows.

My friend in new york city caught me a taurous. I logged back on after 2 hours with no issues.

eyebrowsonfleek · 08/08/2017 13:01

You can get people in other locations to log onto your account. You have to remember not to log in for the time that they are hunting and to take into account travel time there and back.

So if you live an hour from London and have someone hunt for 2 hours, you wouldn't be able to log in for 4-5 hours minimum.

NikiBabe · 08/08/2017 12:58

Ok do you want me to have a go or do you want them to do it?

Soubriquet · 08/08/2017 12:56

I'm on the regional po-go Hunter group on fb.

They do them in other countries and they seem to have discovered being logged out for 2 hours works if the owner than waits another 2 hours once Pokémon has been got. If that makes sense?

NikiBabe · 08/08/2017 12:49

Soubriquet they are everywhere where I am.

I could do it. The question is i dont know how easy it is to do or if there is any risk.

Soubriquet · 08/08/2017 12:30

If I knew someone in a city I would do that without a second pause

NikiBabe · 08/08/2017 12:11

Can anyone get someone to log into their pokemon in a city where there are unown and kanga?

It would seem like yhe only option to have someone else do it

Natsku · 08/08/2017 11:43

Saw a zapdos raid on my way to work but no one around. I really want a zapdos :(
