Okay, the reason Lugia is staying around longer goes back to the second Pokemon film, Pokemon 2000, where it is the 'Trio Master' of the legendary birds.

Hence it is staying throughout all three legendary birds' run.

Pokemon history is long and complicated but they are using it in the game and I'm so happy about that

I think the catch rate must have increased. I did get 9 balls for each catch and I'm pretty good at curve balls.

The catch rate hasn't increased; it's still 3% base rate. Your chance of capture dramatically increases with a golden raspberry and a curve ball, though, as per the graph I have posted twice before on this thread.

Anyway worth remembering which stops you get the good and shite eggs from I reckon. They must rotate at some point but I think there's something in it.

There's nothing in it; PokeStop drops are completely random.

Just hope Lugia will be around a little longer.

It will be around to the end of the legendary birds run. There is a reason well versed for it's longer run in Pokemon history.

I got an Articuno today DH and I went raiding thanks to the new whatsapp group, and about 30 people turned up! It was really good, we split into teams and battled away.

Just hope Lugia will be around a little longer.

It was a bit weird joining up with everyone else but they were all friendly and helpful.

I'm half way through level 38. I keep intending to give up but then those pesky people at Niantic keep roping me back in with new temptations.

My 10k egg was a Sudowoodoo. I felt like doing that bastard some harm when it hatched.

The environment thing simply means they spawn more frequently in those places, not that they don't spawn a lot in others.

Gwaaaan, take a seaside trip! I take the environment thing with a pinch of salt, to be honest: voltorb and magnetite are both supposed to be found in electrical areas, but shed loads of them by the seaside - like Drowzees in London back in the day, seriously.

RueDeWakening Yes, its possible if the players are all high levels and they use appropriate super effective Pokemon with appropriate super effective moves.

But even then it's touch and go, like you say.

I've seen a legendary raid work with 8 people, but it was touch and go.

BSJohnson It usually spawns in farmland and quarry locations, but just like beaches, I am not near any!

Will have to wait for 5k hatches.

There was just an Articuno raid near me, so I reckon (after gleaning Niantic's blog) the cut off is 6pm today and that's when Moltres will be released.

Try beaches for sand slash. I got most of mine from nests last year, but recently caught several in Margate on the seafront.
