Following on from that thread complaining about gaming. Which subsequently was taken over by nerdy gaming chat, a generic game chat thread.

I'm currently playing the Trespasser DLC for DA:I . How about everyone else?

Hi!

I'm new to MN, but not new to gaming. I've got so many on my list to play (lots from GOG and lots on the shelf for the PS3) but I made a conscious decision to just concentrate on one at a time, otherwise I get very confused (I like to play RPGs where you have to absorb lots of information).

So right now I'm playing DA:I (on the PC) and loving it. I've played many, many hours at it because I'm a completist. Grin

I've also started Uncharted 1 (we got Uncharted 2 when we bought the PS3, so I've played that, and then my partner got me the rest of the series a wee while ago) which I'm enjoying (yes, I know that breaks my rule of one game at a time, but at that point, I couldn't get the PC working properly to continue playing DA:I). :)

It's nice to see some other gamers on here.

hanar thank you so much! Bloody obsessed with Stardew Valley now, I love it! Been playing it since the thread above. Now I want my own farm.

BlueberryMarshmallow · 09/07/2017 00:53

I have just finished Nier Automata and am having to fill my time with Gwent until I find something else. I loved horizon too all this robots taking over the world is good fun. I am loving this thread for inspiration!

Nobrian Lord of the Rings Online (Lotro) is a fantastic mmorpg. I'd recommend anyone have a go. (Landroval server has the best community)

Mainly Destiny with a little bit of Fallout 4 on the side. Just waiting for D2 in September...

TheHeraldOfAndraste · 01/07/2017 15:58

If anyones on twitch, Noah Watts (voice of Connor Kenway from ACIII) frequently streams Witcher 3 playthroughs. www.twitch.tv/xvbladerunnervx
Really nice, funny guy. And surprisingly not at all Connor-like in real life.

Witcher 3 is def worth the money. It is awesome and I kill at Gwent.

Ashvis · 29/06/2017 16:49

I love Witcher 3, one of the best rpgs ever. I'd highly recommend it! Having played it through twice I'm already planning a third play through. I liked that some decisions you have to make, you genuinely don't know whether it's the right thing or not. The side quest card game was very addictive too. I gave up professional monster hunting to be a card player for a while 😊

Pinkemi · 29/06/2017 10:52

was Witcher 3 any good? I played Witcher 2 and while I liked it.. it got a bit too much towards the end. I was also really diss-satisfied with the ending!

other games I play (when im not obsessed with ME:)

-Mirrors edge
-Gears of war

actually did anyone get the new Duex EX?

TheHeraldOfAndraste · 29/06/2017 08:30

Horizon was one of the best new releases imo. I was giddy over the DLC trailer previewed at E3. Not to mention the Dishonored DLC, Battlefront II and the New Colossus.

Is anyone else excited for Vampyr?

Aw, man, if I knew the other thread turned into a general gaming one I'd have kept reading it! Yes, another one who really should find other things to do with my free time here. Currently deliberately not finishing Zelda BOTW which I love, and started Horizon Zero Dawn. My bil described it as playing Witcher as Ygritte with robo dinos. I reckon he's right! Can't believe the Zelda dlc and the Crash N Sane trilogy both come out tomorrow. How am I to choose between them? Today is Miniash's last day of nursery before 7 weeks of summer holidays so shall be making the most of that precious spare time by gaming as much as possible. Housework you say? No chance.

Killdora · 28/06/2017 20:37

Ahh I see, I got mixed up and thought that was the PlayStation one Grin

Bubblesagain · 28/06/2017 18:31

occulus rift
I kickstarted the oculus rift, so got the original developer kit and then got the CV1 last year, so good, but the oculus is for PC only so you would need the PlayStation VR for the console.

Killdora · 28/06/2017 17:27

*occulus rift

Killdora · 28/06/2017 17:26

Ooo also has anyone tried the civilised rift yet?

I wasn't going to bother but saw a video on PlayStation access (crush on Rob Pearson Blush) and he was so excited after he played skyrim in VR.

Killdora · 28/06/2017 17:22

I'm also eyeing up the new morrowing expansion for eso.

I'm a wow player but adore the elder scrolls series though I've never given the mmo a try.

I keep hearing good things though...

OfDragonsDeep · 28/06/2017 17:14

I'm loving FFXIV Stormblood expansion atm. Been playing for 3 years, but this expansion came out last week and it's really good.

Killdora · 28/06/2017 17:08

Currently trying to get all my class mount quests done in wow (Horde on Draenor server)

Games I've loved and finished/replayed recently:

Got the old xbox 360 out and replayed all the proper mass effects Wink as well as all the fables.

On the PS4 pro (love love love replaying these in hdr)

-witcher 3
-dragon age inquisition (still haven't finished all the dlc)
-gta
-all of the telltale games, i just love the style of them and they are brilliant to chill out with (especially like the borderlands one)
-abzu
-ratchet and clank

Also haven't had much time on it yet but I've had a little while on the new Zelda game on the switch. It looks very promising. In fact I may have to get out the back catalogue of Nintendo consoles and have another link love in soon Grin

Dd4 is just getting into lego pirates (she had asd and we are using it as an award for doing so well at school inductions) and super mario.

There just is t enough life time to play all the things I want too!

Whatslovegottodo · 28/06/2017 16:54

Oo am loving Fable 2 at the moment.
Anyone else a fable fan, and recommend similar?

showergel1 · 28/06/2017 16:46

Trevor i haven't but DW has. She was very excited to make a warden. She also spent a long time farming and grinding to make me a pet that is slightly like wall-e.
You can see where our priorities are with the game.

Pinkemi · 28/06/2017 13:41

ah.. that will be why i haven't met him yet as I haven't got to Kadara yet! Still trying to up my viability on Veold to 100% :)

TheHeraldOfAndraste · 28/06/2017 12:44

I think there was a Fallout 4 thread on here a while ago. I vaguely remember it.

NeverTrustASmilingCat · 27/06/2017 21:51

photographyaddict me too, I've just started it again, though I don't play much of anything these days as I have 3 year old twins.

I've also been playing Dreamfall Chapters, same problem though

MothertotheLordsofmisrule · 27/06/2017 21:41

Currently goofing around in Fallout 4, trying to get to places you're not meant to.
My poor khajiit in Skyrim has been neglected of late.Sad

I agree with the poster that found Fallout 3 bland, the story was lacking, I much preferred the feel of New Vegas.

DH got me Final Fantasy 15 at Xmas - not sure why as I have never shown any interest.
