Pokemon Go #10. See ya later Feralligator, in a while Totodile

Despite only really playing at the weekend due to working I'm now 180k through Level 31. Today I cheated somewhat. The M25 was stationary, so I opened the app and left it on. I had 8 eggs cooking and between junctions 18 and 22 managed to hatch 7 of them. Mantine, 2x Exegcute, Krabby, Eevee, Togepi and Magby.

Congrats Abbey on reaching Level 30, and commiserations Spammy on not being able to log in.

Battled my way in to 3 gyms and a fourth was my team and had space.

Got my first new gym. I sprinted down there but in the time it took me to spin the picture and work out what button to push I'd been gazumped so I had to kick him out in order to get in. It's a more complex fight though better looking - I don't really understand how it works.

If you are in London there is a map that shows Unown spawns. Not sure how long it will last with the new updates though. I believe they don't usually spawn at Pokestops.

Tumpy, the only linking with strangers will be sharing an outdoor physical space, much like in the early days of the game when you'd get hundreds of people running after something exotic like an abra and there would be mass magikarp hunts in the quest for the first gyarados!

I must admit that DS1 and I tend to hide from other players, just in case it's their gym, we're demolishing :o

Unonwn isn't regional, just very, very, rare - even more rare when you consider how many versions of it there are. That has to be worth its own event!

I have used all my balls on this event because of the high xp bonuses I caught nearly everything I saw. Need to just hit pokestops for a day or two.

Probably a very stupid question, but is Unown a regional Pokemon? Or just incredibly rare? And can you hatch it from an egg? Smile

I only have a tauros so my full dex would be 234 so just unown and Ampharos to get.

I am walking a mareep so after 220km I will get the Ampharos but the unown is just down to chance.

@inniu A full Pokedex with all regionals is 238. A UK 'dex, with just Mr Mime is 233. There are 5 other regionals. You said you have the US ones, do you just mean Tauros, or Heracross and Corlsola too?

If just Tauros then your 'dex would be 234, if all 3 then 236.

I agree whitehorsewilliam from what ive read gyms sound confusing too! And i dont want to join raids either. There's a very active Facebook grp for my team where i live but I prefer to play anonymously, partly because I know most of them are students or young 20s.
