Despite only really playing at the weekend due to working I'm now 180k through Level 31. Today I cheated somewhat. The M25 was stationary, so I opened the app and left it on. I had 8 eggs cooking and between junctions 18 and 22 managed to hatch 7 of them. Mantine, 2x Exegcute, Krabby, Eevee, Togepi and Magby.

Congrats Abbey on reaching Level 30, and commiserations Spammy on not being able to log in.

The newgyms seem very glitchy.

Raid above level 25, as of this morning. And they seem widespread. Passed one in small town Stanley, this morning.

Ok we at another gym raid starting in a minute. His phone is still saying error so he's on his dad's phone. Very annoying as I don't want to buy him a new phone!

Just want to check, has anyone successfully done Gym Raids on an iPhone 5s?

He is on an iPhone 7 now.

Report it as a problem to Niantic on the app, Raspberry - they might be able to refund his pass at least.

Try a different one! Maybe reboot the phone in between. I thought possibly I checked into the battle from home (not far away) and got a raid pass at a pokestop on the way.

Oh sorry he says he was on the raid list and thy took his pass. They just wouldn't let him battle. Going home to get another phone.

Ah, that could be it. We will get to the another raid early. How can you tell how many have checked in to raid the gym?

Poor boy! I wonder if others checked in to the battle but haven't gone there yet? Just speculating as not sure how it works

Yes, poor kid. He had a pass and everything. He didn't get anything. I guess it is over now though? He seems a bit confused as to what we should do?

There are more raids starting in like 20 minutes. Maybe we should try a different phone and see if that helps.

Thanks Psam. Not sure we will see those here but will definitely save them. There's never anything good here anyway! Never seen a Lapras, one Snorlax in the wild which got away in a single shot. I still have loads to catch but being a rural player (both work and home) sucks!

It was mostly like a regular gym battle and the game preselected the best mon to battle with.

Please can anyone help - we've come to do the Gym road and a big crowd had gathered but my DS phone wouldn't let him battle.

It keeps saying "error" - it is his first Gym Raid, I made him work hard to earn it and now he's despondent. We are still here and it's still open if anyone can help.

He has an iPhone 5s btw.

Ok so I did it! Level two raid, all on my lonesome. Took about 10 mins to knock down an 11000 CP electrabuzz which I have now caught. Got a rare candy and some golden razzberries I think

This is where my 7 year comes in handy, I pretend to be chaperoning her Grin I got scared away by a bunch of teenagers whilst battling alone yesterday, I wish the game was more 'acceptable' here.

I just restarted the app and now it looks like namelessensigns. Battle starting in 55 min.

It says they not available for your level? Strange, I think they have dropped down to level 25 now.

Ummm.. turn it off and turn it on again?! Like, properly hard close the app.

psam thank you! Cripes does this mean I have to actually encounter another poke player? There really aren't many of us. And they are all teen boys!
