It looked like a new thread was needed, so here it is, all shiny and pristine.

Arrggh! If you were a pokemon go plus and had been hiding for 5 days, where would you be???

onemouseplace · 15/05/2017 12:23

I've just done a mass evolve and levelled up to Level 31. Which was distinctly underwhelming - I actually had to go and check what you get for Level 31 as I couldn't work out whether I had received my items or not as it crashed half way through!

I only occasionally battle as I don't really have the time, or have people I play with so if I do happen to be spending any length of time where there is a gym, it's normally a Level 10 and there is no way I can bring that down on my own. And if I do spot a gym I have the chance to take down, I usually don't have the time to spend there or don't particularly want to stand on a busy road in the evening jabbing at my phone.

I like walking my 'mon and being able to pick up items and 'mon just when I am out and about.

Soubriquet That's just life.

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 15/05/2017 11:26

The Farfetchd leek is something to do with eating duck and leek (or duck and onion?) There's a phrase about a duck bringing it's own onion or something like that.

Soubriquet · 15/05/2017 11:24

But it means without cheating, you can't complete your pokedex

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 15/05/2017 11:14

Soubriquet I like it, and it makes sense. It's good for each region to have its own Pokemon.

Soubriquet · 15/05/2017 11:12

Far fetched is a regional Pokemon so you're very unlikely to get one

I do think it's unfair how they have done that. Pokémon should be available worldwide not just regional

HandbagCrab · 15/05/2017 11:09

Thanks psammead I didn't know that about evolved forms!

bigchris hoppips and skiplooms hang around town centres and supermarkets round here!

Not seen a far fetched but my go plus caught a ditto!

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 15/05/2017 10:40

Farfetch'd carrying a leek is to do with ancient Japanese history.

Igneococcus · 15/05/2017 10:06

I can't sign in, is anybody else having problems? I'm on android.

DoctorTwo · 15/05/2017 08:20

Or maybe it's a spring onion...

If you use a pinap on an already evolved Pokémon, you get more candy. You generally get more candy for catching an evolved form, pinap or no pinap.

TrashPanda · 15/05/2017 07:45

This is what it says in the Pokedex, still doesn't explain why though.

bigchris · 15/05/2017 06:50

I'm jealous handbag, I had a skip loom run away from me yesterday ! I've only ever seen a far fetched in a gym

DoctorTwo · 15/05/2017 06:49

My 10k egg was a Dratini. A sodding Dratini. Harumph.

I chucked a Lucky Egg and scored 39kXP and added Forretess and Sunflora to my 'Dex.

A question wrt Farfetch'd (which I saw in a gym). Why the fuck is it holding a leek?

OP posts:
HandbagCrab · 15/05/2017 06:25

i gave a skiploom a pinap berry and got ten candies from it yesterday - don't know what that was about? Evolved a jumpfluff from it which is cute. It is much more fun when events are on imho.

tumpymummy · 15/05/2017 00:16

Bibbles the dragonfly thingy would have been a Yanma. Doesn't do much, a bit like a Skarmory or a Dunsparce. It doesn't evolve into anything, so you didn't miss much apart from one for the Dex (always nice!)

Bimblesalong · 14/05/2017 17:57

Saw a shadow this morning of a dragonfly type shape. As it was 5.30am there was no way I was rushing out to catch it - no sign of anything like it all day though.
Hatched an onix, which was good, as I'm currently walking one and the hatch came with 17 candy, which means I have to walk so much less!

PsammeadPaintedTheLion · 14/05/2017 17:32

Oh, here you all are!

Up to 206 caught in the pokedex. No shadows for ages. I'd love a Porygon!

DameDeDoubtance · 14/05/2017 13:51

I agree, i am using it as a walking app. I catch a mon each day and spin a stop to keep my streak up. I was motivated to level up but there isn't really much point, you don't get many benefits and i am at a respectable level. I loved catching shadows but they just don't appear anymore, last time was months ago. As for hatching eggs, what's the point, there full of rubbish.

Bah, we need an event or something different to catch.

loc · 14/05/2017 10:52

I tend to agree bluesky. I'm up to 224, can walk 4 more but will take ages, and i never see the shadows of the others. 😒

blueskyinmarch · 14/05/2017 10:32

I am finding it all really boring now. I don’t do gyms either so just catching/hatching/evolving/buddying here. I have 221 in my Pokedex which is pretty good but there has been nothing new and interesting around her for ages. It is super dull. I think i may give up now.

DoctorTwo · 14/05/2017 10:27

No TrashPanda, I don't do gyms. Which is probably why I have so much stardust.

I'm 7.5km into a 10k egg and am hoping it's something good.

Currently walking Machop, now at 96 candy, so only 12km from Machamp.

It's good fun walking Grimer. It follows you around rubbing your bottom

bigchris · 14/05/2017 09:19

I still haven't got a Muk so might walk Grimer next
