It looked like a new thread was needed, so here it is, all shiny and pristine.

I'm very tempted

There's an EE plan I'm looking at. £15 a month for 7GB data. I currently pay £10 on O2 and it's only 1GB data. So for £5 more there's a lot more to it

LBOCS2 · 14/06/2017 10:44

Thrifty, surely @Soubriquet? I'm on Three and they seem to have the best data plans.

I've caught about 16 growlithe since this event started. All from my sofa.

FreeNiki · 14/06/2017 10:29

I wouldn't worry too much about a decent vulpix. Their max cp isnt that high and ninetales just looks pretty rather than being a contender for gym battles.

Soubriquet · 14/06/2017 10:27

Got my arcaineGrin

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 14/06/2017 10:10

3 charmander, 3 vulpix and 2 each of cyndaquil, growlithe and houndour so far. Also hatched a ponyta and a Charmander.

Been quite a successful trip to work so far.

ProseccoandPizza · 14/06/2017 09:13

I finally got the Houndour this morning well three of them. Loving all the Charmanders too! Only another 51 candies for a Charizard. Grin

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 14/06/2017 09:06

I still need a Houndour. Saw a shadow but was putting DCs to bed.
DH hates these events. I mutter things like 'houndour' and run out of the house

Soubriquet · 14/06/2017 08:47

Is it bad that I'm looking on changing my SIM card to a better plan for more data? Blush

tumpymummy · 14/06/2017 08:20

Haven't been playing much recently, but a new event so would be rude not too! Also need a decent cyndaquil to evolve so on the look out. Caught lots of houndoom on holiday recently, so a bit of a shame everyone else will have them now but again always on look out for a decent one.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 14/06/2017 08:08

A cyndaquil has just turned up. Shouldn't need too many more to evolve, just need to find a decent one.

I need to find a better Vulpix too. It's got excellent IVs but a really crap CP.

DameDeDoubtance · 14/06/2017 07:25

New event, woo hoo, I was losing interest!!!

FreeNiki · 14/06/2017 00:19

I caught 3 Cyndaquil and a Houndour so far.

I may have a lure module or incense and use a lucky egg because at 450xp per catch double that is almost as good as evolve session points

PickAChew · 13/06/2017 23:52

And you definitely can't lure a shadow, only go out to find it!

Click on the footprints and it shows you where the pokestop is.

PickAChew · 13/06/2017 23:51

And yes, I only need cyndaquil, but am open to evolving better arcanine and much better houndoom.

I like my arcanine for popping into gyms I don't particularly care about, though that's about to change, anyhow, so will be interesting to see what they do.

PickAChew · 13/06/2017 23:47

Well, there's your problem, Rafa :o

We pop over to Seaham, Seaburn (less of a pop) or Hartlepool Headland if we fancy some electric pokies!

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 13/06/2017 23:43

The throw bonus applies to all Pokémon thought doesn't it. I seem to be getting it with the magnemites.

TBH after the first eleventy billion I started ignoring half of them and don't really bother playing at home. With the extra XP it might make them worth bothering with.

LBOCS2 · 13/06/2017 23:33

Which side of London, @Kpo58?

I like Crystal Palace Park or the Horniman with mine - things to do for the DC and I caught my Dragonite in the Horniman gardens. They're both nests too but I'm not sure what of at the moment, the London pogo group on FB has more info. If not the south side of London, j would suggest having a look at the pogo FB group as they've got all the nest info for various areas.

ProseccoandPizza No worries Smile I just thought it'd be better for you (and anyone else reading) to know so you don't waste any future ones as they're quite precious!

BumWad · 13/06/2017 23:25

I'm only after Cyndaquils

ProseccoandPizza · 13/06/2017 23:21

I didn't know that and was just taking desperate measures I guess.

Ooh I didn't get that one surprisingly considering I've already got a Houndoom.

Thank you for the Insense explanation though! Smile

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 13/06/2017 23:17

Yes, it's a Houndoor, ProseccoandPizza, but like I said, incense won't lure it because that's not how incense works.

Bimblesalong · 13/06/2017 23:15

It's a houndor

ProseccoandPizza · 13/06/2017 23:13

It was originally at pokestop then in wild sightings changing rankings as such.

Not Quilavar as far as I know!

Oh you were using it to lure a shadow? No, the incense wouldn't affect the shadow.

The incense spawns Pokemon independently, whereas the Pokemon you saw is already at the pokestop, so the incense can't "lure" it, if you know what I mean?

CrazedZombie · 13/06/2017 23:08

Sounds like a Quilava.
