Most of the gen 2 we caught were first ball.

Except for a Sudowoodo we found in our village. .escaped from about 8 balls so I gave up. we'd already used up all the balls from our Pokéstop run.

I think we have about 10 new ones so far. :) DC are very excited.

I got 8 new ones yesterday and nothing today - all my shadows have disappeared too!
Back to endless krabbys it seems for me at the moment

I've reached Level 28 today too

I started off with no balls and very quickly had a full bag. Stomping around London has been good for pokestops and catches.

My Magikarp is now a Gyrados after nearly 100k! I'm keeping him on as a buddy for now to power up. I've had a gym battle at the London Eye, but didn't get to put one in as it went down as I was fighting. There were several Poliwags there which is a good novelty for me as I'm still working on it's second evolution. Water types don't turn up much in my usual stomping ground.

I've caught 22 new ones already and haven't been anywhere really except for a drive around town!

My lapras has gone down as well, as has a friends lapras. Mine was shit enough already!

I've just noticed my Lapras CP has gone down it was in the 1900s and now it's in the 1700s.

I had to bite the bullet today and buy extra storage as I'd just about finished gen 1 and need to keep stores for mass evolves using lucky eggs.

Possum yes, that's what the new Pinap berries are for I think - to stop them jumping around so you can aim properly.

Today I bit the bullet and spent £20 on 2500 coins. I bought one lot of item storage, upped Pokemon storage to 400, bought 8 Lucky Eggs and 3 incubators.

Catch wise, oh my days... I have enough Ledyba and Sentret candy to evolve, I caught Spinarak, Sentret, Murkrow, Natu, Ledyba, Teddiursa, Hoothoot and Hoppip. Today's hatches were Togepi and Aipom. The latter looks like an even camper Tinky Winky :o Hopping on his (I checked, this one is male) left foot with an occasional switch to the right and his triple pom-pom tail waving behind him is hilarious.

I'm up to 140 on the Pokedex and haven't caught so many new ones in one day since September. Long may it continue

WRT the sex of each Pokemon, it looks to me like they're going to introduce breeding,

Has anyone tried to catch a spear row recently? I keep overshooting. Lots of changes!

Sudowoodo is amusing. It does jazz hands when you tap on it and performs the campest dodge routine imaginable when you catch it.

And I think that creepy monkey thing with the hand on its tail just about outfreaks Mr mime.

Probably wise to keep a male and a female, I'm going to start putting and M or F at the end of each ones name otherwise it's gonna get confusing!

pickachew the same thing happened to my DS I had caught 2 dittos he had never caught one.. Then his hoothoot turned into a ditto. He was hutted..He did catch another one today though.

Have been round Newcastle and Sunderland, today. Loads of new ones, not a single special item.

Have noticed differences between some of the m/f Pokémon. Male murkrows have bigger points on their hats, male woopers more complex antlers and male ledyba longer horns. Ds1 said rattata and raticate have a difference in their whiskers.

I've caught three Teddiursa this morning so probably not nocturnal. I hatched a Mantine from a 10k egg this morning which was a surprise.

Tomorrow I have five hours to kill while DS does an activity (it's too far away to come home in the middle) and I'm hoping that enough of the Ingress portals made it across as Pokestops for me to find a decent farming loop. I'm taking both battery packs and I intend walking until everything is flat.
