That Ursaring looks menacing! I wouldn't want to bump into him in a dark alley.

I need balls. Desperately. But I can't be arsed to go to the nearest town to stock up.

The best thing about this update is that the energy saver is finally working on my phone!

I've been lurking. I've had two metal coats and a dragon scale now. I got the dragon scale from my 7 day streak and no idea when I got one of my metals coats. I can't beat the Blissey in one of my local gym but as it's a friendly gym that's not a bad thing. Hoothoot are pretty common round by me.

There's talk on one of my pokemon FB pages that 10k eggs are more common since the update. I got a gligar out of my second, and a phanpy and smoochum from 5ks. All new to me, so I'm happy. Less happy that some git took a gym place that we'd spent ages and lots of revives training up Angry

That's weird, it was definitely a 5k egg I just hatched. Was your egg maybe one that you got before Gen 2 came out?
I'm still waiting for an aerodactyl and only ever got one lapras.

I think my elekid came from a 10k egg.

Caught a Yanma and a Misdreavus today but I just can't catch Spinaraks. I have seen 12 but only caught 4 and I think these were all caught by ds rather than by me. My balls just fly right through them. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

For the first time in Pokemon Go, have spend £10 of real money on coins to be able to upgrade my storage and get more incubators. Off for a long walk this morning to see what I can catch and hatch.

I'm not looking forward to taking this one on to get back in one of the local gyms!

It was hard enough getting past CP3000 Snorlax which kept timing out just as it got to red on the bar. I made it in after quite a long effort, but have been knocked out already.

New pokemon of the day was Ledyba. There were quite a few hanging around. I also caught Ariados.

I think fighting types are the way to go against blissey. And if you can, battle with friends!

Ok, just in case anyone is as dozy as me (unlikely)
I wondered what the hell the new pinapberries were for - they increase the amount of candy you get from catching a Pokemon.
I had a total lightbulb moment earlier and realised that instead of having to catch 2 Woopers in order to evolve (I had 46 candies) I could use a berry. This meant I caught it and received 5 candies taking me over the 50 required. Did that make sense? Blush
