Pokemon Go #7. Is it Take A Chansey On Me or Hitmonlee With Your Rhythm Stick? You decide.

Pokemon Go Plus is best used when you can't be bothered playing / catching things individually or you're in a rush to a train station or similar and don't have time to stop but do have time to hit your wrist!

If you are after catching new/rare pokemon, play the game properly as you'll miss some.

You can run the app in the background once you have synced to the Go Plus and it will still work and record distances etc.

Success rate at catching Pokemon is low as you only get once chance at each, but it's very speedy so you will catch more on a fast walk than if you'd try to get them all yourself.

This means it's good for storing up loads of basic Pokemon for doing a lucky egg with and evolving tonnes at once. You will need pokemon storage space (on offer until today?).

So with the Pokemon Go Plus. Do you need the app open too? Or can it be closed and in your bag?! I could hit a pokestop all day long but can't have my phone out in my office.

There's someone on a Facebook group at level 40 but they spend a lot of real money on the game as well as time

We went to Surrey for the weekend and saw so many pokemon in gyms that showed that we had already battled them before- those people must do a lot of traveling! We also had several brand new pikemon poof. Frustrating doesn't even begin to cover it.

Yes, definitely. If far more forgiving of the speed restriction than by swiping a pokestop manually. You can also use it while driving something you obviously couldn't if you were swiping manually.

Does anyone know with Eevee do I have to use the name trick to get the other evolutions? Or will it happen randomly eventually anyway? Only got Vaporean x 3 so far.

Tips for using a Pokémon go plus...

Store up your pokeballs and just keep it in your hand all the time. It's got an amazing battery life.

It collects the common Pokémon brilliantly but as it only throws one ball per Pokémon you miss a lot. My hit rate is about 50%. It's fun to go through what you've caught when you get home but occasionally you realize that you've missed something amazing 😭. See attached Snapchat screenshot.

Its definitely not a replacement for non Pokémon go plus catching but it's still useful.

I'm way to old to be playing Pokémon go and as non of my sensible pals play it I'm hesitant to have my phone out all the time. The Pokémon go plus is a great way for me to be able to play when I wouldn't normally be able to e.g. When I'm with my pals doing a guided tour of a National Trust house or even if you are just out somewhere for coffees.

Hatched an aerodactyl at long last! Only need a dragonite to finish the first gen pokedex. Have dranitini as my walking buddy... only need to walk 440km 😣. Did a mass evolve session with a lucky egg so about to level up to 28.

My go plus is actually in the post to me! Any tips for using it?

Someone keeps putting a blissey in the gym next to my house which is so upsetting! I've tried everything and can't defeat it. Niantic needs to nerf them.

Thankfully a group of instinct players turned up yesterday and battled together to get rid of it.

I couldnt bring myself to spend real money on incubators. 99% of the time they are very dissapointing. I just hatched a 10k and it was a very average dratini. I've got another about to hatch and I'm really hoping for something good. I've not had any 10Ks for a while.

Ive only seen 2 Chanceys and caught both. It will just take time. I dont bother buying incubators now just to hatch rubbish.

Had an evolve session and got 66,000xp just now and a Kingdra! No special item from 7 day streak.

I haven't checked in for ages and ages but I thought I'd see how everyone is doing and to have a blissey moan. 😡😡😡
Despite constantly saying I'm going to quit playing I'm still plugging away. I'm now level 35 but I'm miles away from getting a Blissey. My local town is dominated by spoofers and the gyms are already piled high with Blisseys. 😭😭😭. I'm not even going to try and fight them. I think it's less time consuming to drive to the next town to fight there.

I walked miles during the valentines event and combine that with the fact I've been playing since day one I've still only seen SIX chanceys of which I've only caught FOUR. I maxed out my storage ages ago so all my coins go towards incubator but I never seem to get anything good. 😢😢😢😢.

We finally hatched some babies - got a Togepi & Pichu & also caught a sunkern. Wish we could come across a Charmander nest though as still 28 candies required & its 3km per candy before we get our charizard!

We're all enjoying the game again though, even if it'll take a long time to get to level 31!

I hatched 3 Krabbys both from 2k eggs.

Got a couple of new ones today - hatched a Mareep from a 10k egg, and caught 2 Chinchous in the park. Still no special items though.

I also didn't get an item at 7 day bonus .. I have levelled up to level 29 and got pineapples in my stuff
