Well, saw this little one left overnight in a gym. Sad, really... Where are his parents? What were they thinking? Do they work night shifts too?

So many questions...

If there are any South Londoners on here, there seems to be a spawn point for Kabuto at Selsdon Rec - they keep popping up at the Pokestop there.

Igneococcus · 31/12/2016 13:41

Are you astonished that that works or that I only found out now DamedeDoubtance Smile
You need to say Ok google or tap the microphone icon and then say Lumos, takes a second or two but works perfectly on my Galaxy.
Caught a squirtle, ivysaur and a charmander, there are more things on the screen but our weather is atrocious.

DameDeDoubtance · 31/12/2016 13:30

I only found out two days ago that you can turn on the torch on an android phone by saying "lumos" and to turn it off with "nox".

Shock Shock Shock

DameDeDoubtance · 31/12/2016 13:25

I know what you mean, there are some pokemon that I don't see me ever having a chance at. I'm almost level 30 and I've had 6 ten k eggs throughout the whole game so no chance of a Snorlax for me.

I think they should rotate the spawn so that everyone has a chance to catch and evolve a broad variety.

During and after the Halloween event the spawns were more interesting, I had a bit of colour around me, now it's just rats and pidgeys and weedles.

QueenLizIII · 31/12/2016 12:54

Ive had a few bulbasaur. Two of them ran away.

I am actually pissed off that Ive played this game for over 5 months and a Venosaur was out of reach unless I walked hundreds of kilometers or waited until they changed the game to add more.

ednabuckett · 31/12/2016 08:56

More charmander this morning and a bulbasaur. I have to pop out later so will take the long route so I can see what's in town. It's so nice that something different is popping up. My little girl uses an old phone and can only catch at home or in wifi so she's made up to now have those too.

She's desperate for a baby tho so we're going to try a trip to my brothers as he has a poke stop near his house that we can use within his wifi range.

Igneococcus · 31/12/2016 08:35

Just went crashing through the neighbor's yard in the dark with an inadequate flashlight, I only found out two days ago that you can turn on the torch on an android phone by saying "lumos" and to turn it off with "nox". probably everybody else knew that already but this is very handy out here with barely any street lights.

BumWad · 31/12/2016 08:29

I can't believe you caught a wild Charizard!! I really need to get out and get playing today.

LBOCS2 · 31/12/2016 08:25

The charizard last night took an embarrassing number of balls to catch Blush

Igneococcus · 31/12/2016 08:24

I just caught a 646 Cp Charmeleon down by the shore of the loch but the wind was blowing so bad I had difficulties keeping the phone steady. There is now a squirtle nearby but it is wild out there at the moment. I hope it will spawn in my dry and warm house instead.

PickAChew · 31/12/2016 07:54

Evolved starter Pokémon are fiendishly difficult to catch and usually subjected to the 3 ball rule!

TheOtherGalen · 31/12/2016 01:28

Just went crashing through the neighbor's yard in the dark with an inadequate flashlight, making a giant undignified spectacle of myself, only to find a 57 CP Wartotle at the end. 57 CP! Bleh! And did I just spend 5 regular balls, 5 great balls, and 4 ultra balls on it before finally catching it? No, of course not, I would never be that stupid.

schmack · 31/12/2016 01:20

Charizard and Ivysaur here tonight, plus a lapras and a dragonite! crazy night and I've completed my gen 1 pokedex with the Ivysaur. just in time for the end of the year, so I've only wasted 6 months on Pokémon Go :)

TheOtherGalen · 31/12/2016 01:18

Oh, dear, there's a Wartotle nearby!

Donning all the layers as we speak.

TheOtherGalen · 31/12/2016 01:16

Refilled my egg basket and managed to get two 10k eggs! If only it weren't so freaking freezing out there, gah!

I saw quite a few starters in town, though caught a couple Charmeleons and Bulbasaurs, even a Squirtle. I haven't seen any evolved starters though! If a Charizard or a Blastoise shows up here I don't care if I die of hypothermia I'm going after it!

Now plugging in the phone and turning the game on in desperate hopes that a Charizard shows up in my kitchen...

QueenLizIII · 31/12/2016 01:14

I just had a Charmander in my garden!

Quietlygoingmad67 · 31/12/2016 01:09

My app did an automatic update about a week ago and now I can't get on the app at all!! Getting unreasonably cross - it's only a game but annoying that I can't get on. I deleted the app and reloaded it but still no joy Angry

LBOCS2 · 31/12/2016 01:06

I just had a Charizard in my kitchen. Not too shabby Grin

QueenLizIII · 31/12/2016 01:06

Just caught a 700CP Bulbasaur. I almost never see those.

Imaginationfailedtoload · 31/12/2016 01:02

So many Pokemon that I'm desperate for on my sightings but got a friend staying and she's not a Pokemon fan so I'm sitting here just watching them disappear 😱😱😱

LBOCS2 · 31/12/2016 00:54

Fuckit, there's a Blastoise at the pokestop up the way but I've drunk the best part of a bottle of wine and it's too cold to walk...

LBOCS2 · 31/12/2016 00:51

zebra, I think you're near me! Many an hour I spent getting drunk around there (before it all caught fire and was regenerated) as a reprobate teenager Grin

I caught a squirtle in my bedroom last night and have just got a Santachu - I now have a festive Raichu and a non-festive one. I was excited to see the new start screen but haven't had anything interesting pop up yet...

Dillite2 · 31/12/2016 00:42

We went to London today. Hatched loads of shite- geodude, polywag, tentacool, sandshrew, bellsprout, cloyster and an igglypuff. We did not come across any extra starter pokemon or 10k eggs. And thanks to dd chucking more balls than collecting, we only have 200ish left.

MuddlingMackem · 31/12/2016 00:40

Just had a Chansey show up in the house! Caught it for me but it poofed for both of the kids. They're going to be gutted if I tell them in the morning. On the plus side I did manage to catch them a Hitmonlee each last night when I was out late, so they were happy about that.

MakeMyWineADouble · 30/12/2016 23:46

lol I tried a lure as a long shot I believe it had found shelter and wasn't coming out for anyone! I'm hopeful though that it means it's not just the 1st stage starter Pokemon that's spawn has been increased it maybe across the board!
