A miracle has happened, thanks to the spawn move I can now catch pokemon from my sofa. I've never been so happy to see a pidgey A pokemon an hour is amazing for here.

IhatchedaSnorlax there's a "best attacker" option on Poke Assistant, if you input the defender it will show you their weaknesses. If you put together a team that is lower CP than the things you are attacking but takes advantage of their weaknesses then you will bring down the prestige faster than if you stick with the big ones.

I have however levelled up to 24. Was rather disappointed in my Nidoking and Dragonite CPs too. I also have no stardust left.

I did get a decent CP vaporeon and jolts on again though.

Did a mass evolve session last night, actually didn't manage to do all of them. Now have 103 in the Pokedex. New ones are Dragonite, Parasect, Dewgong, Nidoking and Sandslash.

Got loads of water ones now I'm getting a bit bored of them. They keep spawning at my house and it doesn't seem to have changed either.

Seakings, Starmies, Golducks, slowpokes and Poliwhatevers. Yawn

I have been stuck on level 21 since September. I am however seeing a greater variety of Pokemon near my home, it was previously all bloody floppy bastard fish and drowsees but I've had some interesting finds recently. I've found a Porygon, Diglett and Gravler in my garden today, all of which are new to me.

(It's my first time posting on this thread, only just found my fellow people!)

Is there a list of which Pokemon are good to fight against which? I.e., what's good to beat a snorlax / dragonite / charizard / gyrados?

I need to get more strategic regarding what to fight with as all gyms by us are blue level 10 (we're red team!) but other than using & reviving our highest CP Pokémon, I've no idea what works best! (& we don't have many revives as rarely seem to get them at pokestops so don't fight often at all!).

I like Jolteons because the local gyms are usually stocked with water beasts. I am one short of having a full team, so far I've not come across any one thing I can't take down with two.

My seem equal with Eevee's. I first got a Jolteon then a Flareon then a Vaporeon.

Since then I have another one of both Jolteon and Flareon and 2 more Vaporeon. I caught a wild Vaporeon so that makes 4 Vaporeon and 2 each of the others

jules I wonder if you're right about the eevees? I now only seem to get Jolteon's when I evolve. Which is a pain because I really want another vaporeon! My last two 10k eggs have been eevees and I really dont want another Joltoen!

Dillite if the gym near you is full of snorlax that might actually be an advantage because having all the same pokemon can make it a weak one. Have you got a good vaporean or charizard that you could use to fight against them?
There was a level 10 gym near me a few weeks ago full of dragonites - looked good though!

Hatched a CP934 Porygon from a 5km egg today! New to my Pokedex too so very happy.

PickAChew Our house has been hopeless tonight. Plenty in the vicinity, but only a Paras and a few Weedles so far tonight - and I can't even catch the damn weedles because my phone doesn't have enough space for the update to fix the freeze from the main update. Gah!

We've gone from 4-6 spawns per hour in range of our house to just 2. Bummer

starlight evee naming only works for one evolve of each. Sadly.

Yeah talullah you need to do both steps so Bulbasaur to ivysaur (25) then ivysaur to Venosaur (100) but as the first evolution gives you 1 candy too you only need 124 for the whole way

My area has always had quite random spawns and a lot of rarer ones but noticing an increase. Couldn't do the incense trick earlier as the app froze

Quite pleased with today's haul. Only had one Bulbasaur at the start.

RE evves.. I also found the renaming doesn't work.

My DS has done some good catches while I was driving tonight..He caught an exeggcute, Oddis and Rhyhorn..

Ah ignore me - I see why people say about having 125 first. So you can evolve both in one go. I thought you meant if you had enough candies it would go straight to the 3rd type but I understand it now. Thanks

You have to do ivysaur first.

Can you evolve straight from, for example, a bulbasaur to a venosaur? Or do you have to evolve to an ivysaur first?

I caught a wild Lapras today in Ravenscourt Park...but only 200CP

I've gone from 78 candies to 105 today (Bulbasaur). Could evolve my shit ivysaur but wanting to get to 124 for the good Bulbasaur.
