I caught a CP10 Chancey 2 days ago.

Aaah just caught up on the fact that FPM isn't working.

However Niantic have released the Nearby Pokemon feature in some areas.

To be honest with you I hadn't missed FPM when it was done, the times I did try to use it it wouldn't load fast enough.

Some of you lot have caught some good uns in the wild! I'm slightly jealous.

I see from reading FPMS find Reddit post it us because the spawning points have been changed that us algorithms no longer work.

If only Niantic could see how it enhances the game for so many of us.

Oh no, longtimelurker that's really sad. The guy behind FPM was so clever and determined. I cant believe Niantic are so short sighted. I didnt use FPM all the time, but when I did it definitely enhanced play. I think Niantic will lose a lot of players again, especially now Halloween is over.

Talluhah You wait, the levels just get more and more rediculous. And between 20 and 25 when you do eventually level up you dont get much for your troubles anyway.

On the positive side maybe I'll actually get some work and housework done now. They have been rather neglected over the last week!

What's happened to spawning points? Mine has moved overnight from the end of the drive to right down the end of the back garden. Still accessible from the house I'm pleased to say but I see on Twitter that some people who previously had 3 or 4 in easy reach have now lost them all.

Good question Nutella. A lapras ran away on me once when we were on holiday (my DSs still haven't forgiven me for not catching it as it had a high CP also) but not seen the others to catch & not a hint of a lapras since!

We're now on level 26 & have caught 113.

Does anyone know if tangela / chancey / hitmonlee / lapras can be caught? I've got a fat chance of hatching them and soon they will be the last 4 I've got left. This means the game will be pretty much dead for me if I'm depending on my crap eggs.

Level 22 bought a magic egg, did my evolving then realised hadn't cracked the egg would have moved to level 23.

I didn't get a flareon until the wondrous Halloween event, until then I kept accruing jolteons and vaporeons until I had about 20 million squillion of each. Now I have one (shit) flareon but I think persistence is key!

I'm new to this thread - I have a question about evolving eevees - when I started playing I did the trick with the renaming eevees so that I had one of each of the evolutions. Since that stopped working I have made nothing but flareons (6 in a row now). I have a friend who has similarly evolved nothing but jolteons since they got the first three.

Is it just coincidence, or is it possible to get stuck just making one thing?

Yes I hatched two hitmonlee and one hitmonchan. Missing Fastpokemap this morning as we have a hint planned and i just wanted to check that the suspected nest would be worth it!

Apparently fastpokemap has gone for good, but they're putting a tracker out in some places in the US. It seems that it's based on "near pokestops" but I don't have a pokestop within a mile

Woo hoo! After only seeing a Ponyta silhouette for a few days it finally showed up in the living room, so I got it for me, then for DD and then for DS! The kids are thrilled.

Despite only having to catch it for himself DH somehow missed it! I think he was in the middle of an xBox game battle so couldn't just stop that. Hope he gets another chance at it soon.

On the plus side, and this also applies to you derektheladyhamster I used my CP607 dragonite in a friendly gym the other day and he was actually quite useful! Because he was a much lower CP than the pokemon I was battling the prestige of the gym went up quickly. Least I think that happened, still not 100% sure if my gym tactics are right! I was going to exchange him for 2 candy during halloween but was glad I didn't.

I have this little beauty, and not a chance in hell of ever getting enough candy to evolve it.

Neuromutant - I would be fuming. I have a fit at my 7 year old if he even favourites them!
