I was near there on Saturday (and went the other way from High Street Kensington station to Hyde Park)!

I did find a Kabuto at the station and many Clefairy in Hyde Park though.

Itsoverpeople · 26/09/2016 18:13

kpo Holland Park right now (and at every other time)

Shit day today. Long walk and hatched a 5k egg with a bloody Drowzee.

And 3 2k eggs: a weedle, a caterpie and a rattata.

I caught a Blastoise today! Grin
but no one in real life understands

I'm still hoping to catch/hatch a Bulbasaur. Does anyone know where one can be reliabily be caught in the London area?

DoctorTwo · 26/09/2016 16:01

I caught a Seadra and an Electabuzz today, making it caught 67, seen 68. For the 1st time I saw a Pikachu shadow but couldn't track it down. Looking at my eggs, I have 5x5km eggs and 4x10 and only one incubator. I reckon I'm going to wait to get to Level 20, drop a Lucky Egg and evolve everything I can. That means grinding loads of Pidgeys, Ratattas, Weedles and Drowzees for candy but I'll need the space in my Pokebag.

I think I'm going to have to install FastPokeMap if I want a Pikachu.

ABunchOfFuckingPidgeys · 26/09/2016 15:52

I've never had to pop bubbles since day one, I'm not sure it's a new feature.

The names have been on lures for a while too but you used to have to tap on the pink bit to bring it up.
I'd rather see how long is left on it than the username to be honest. I dashed to get a coffee today and planned to sit at a lure, but it had finished by the time I got back, I'd have parked my arse there for the last ten minutes and got coffee after if I'd know haha.

pokemongo your parents sound loads of fun, I want to come on a car ride with you :)

I've caught my first new Pokemon in weeks, a dratini in bishop auckland. I almost pissed myself with excitement as it's been soooooo long since I've seen a shadow. Also managed to take down a gymn and get 10 coins.

The dip in weather has put me off going out so much, Bloody freezing today, I ve had a 10 km egg that id usually hatch in by day or two but I think it's been almost a week now.

I'm now at seen/caught 133 and level 26 where I've been for about three or four weeks now.

reddA · 26/09/2016 15:45

Got into 10 gyms and collected my coins this morning - first time ever! Still no Aerodactyl :( Up to 9 bloody gyarados fgs! Half way through level 30, 500k XP is just ridiculous - really not feeling the love for this stupid game at the moment

Starlight234 · 26/09/2016 14:50

the ones I saw was names like Harry and Sarah.. I guess this is the awarenss thing..Never really clicked on lure before

Soubriquet · 26/09/2016 11:05

I've never had to pop the bubbles either

Just spin and close

MakeMyWineADouble · 26/09/2016 11:03

The bubble thing as been a while noticed it my accident but sure at the beginning you did. The username has always been there but you used to have to click on the lure and I don't think many people did now it's just there.

Natsku · 26/09/2016 10:40

Never had to pop the bubbles

It gives the user name on the lure not the proper name

SoupDragon · 26/09/2016 10:24

Isn't it just user names rather than the actual name of the player (who isn't necessarily a child!)

I think FastPokeMap has glitches occasionally when it picks up nothing (it did for me this morning but then found some a short while later) but I've found it generally reliable.

Starlight234 · 26/09/2016 09:52

I was at a Lurve module yesterday and the names of the kids who had put it on was there..I really did not like this feature.

I put on aegg on yesterday and noticed it going in a bubble never noticed before.

MakeMyWineADouble · 26/09/2016 08:40

Had anyone noticed when putting eggs on to incubate now there is a little trainer picture? I'm wondering if that means there will still be eggs that need potions? Also while at a poke stop today I saw my lady walking past through the stop is that new or have I never paid attention before?

dementedpixie · 26/09/2016 07:37

It doesn't work on my (android) phone so I use my iPad and it works there. A Persian is showing in my nearby but when I checked the map it is over the railway at the back so not worth looking for it

ojalele · 26/09/2016 07:34

Hm. I installed fastpokemap and it doesn't show anything at all...

SoupDragon · 25/09/2016 22:17

I've found FastPokeMap to be pretty reliable but it is behind on time so some things will have vanished from the game when you get there despite being on the map and some won't be on the map yet.

I did have a different app with a very similar name that didn't work though.

QueenLizIII · 25/09/2016 22:11

I got another Dratini today and got two 5k egg hatches, both Sandshrews. Ive never seen or caught a Sandshrew before so I was chuffed to get 2 as I am well on the way with candies.

Magikarp are everywhere where I live. So hopefully not long before I get another evolve.

dementedpixie · 25/09/2016 22:08

And ds is normally in charge of my phone in the car and he manages to catch Pokemon on 2 phones at once

dementedpixie · 25/09/2016 22:07

I use the tracking map in the house as we have a railway line at the back of the house so if the Pokemon have spawned over the other side of the railway line then there is no point in us going to look for them as we there is no quick way to get over there. We can't use it out and about as I'm not carting my iPad with me

PokemonGo · 25/09/2016 21:56

Lol, I just got back from a Pokemon drive with my 79 and 80 year old parents. 😂 I was driving so had to give my Mum the phone so she could spot and tap on the Pokemon before I could pull over to catch them. I was trying to get her to ignore the ratattas and weedle type ones and only get the good ones so she was giving me a running commentary of what she could see. Her descriptions were priceless. An oddish was a 'bouncing blueberry thing with a spikey hat'. 😆
My Dad was asking lots of questions but I'm not sure he quite gets the attraction of Pokemon Go.

I've persuaded them to come for lunch on the pier tomorrow so we can chat while I Pokemon . Wink I'm excited as I live miles from the sea and I'm seeing lots of different Pokemon.

BTW, I am now level 29 and have 123 Pokemon in my pokedex and I've only spent £3.16 in real money and I don't use any pokevision type maps. I think they feel a bit cheaty and take the fun out the game...for me anyway. 😇

dementedpixie · 25/09/2016 21:24

I have to use it on my Ipad as it doesn't work on my phone and like you it doesn't always show what's available
