What board game are you playing - chat thread

I thought it would be nice to continue on the discussion about board games.

Our favourite game is 7 wonders.

Our favourite card game is Bohnanza.

We are currently learning to play Puerto Rico.

Anyone else.

We're still on The Fishing Game and ludo but ds1 will be six next year so I'm keeping an eye out for good early board games.

We're new to the amazing new selection of board games but are loving carcassonne and I'm trying to persuade them to live splendour as much as I do ;-) Dixit and exploding kittens on the list for our next investments...

fusspot66 any games are welcome. I don't particularly like monopoly but I like any game that gets children interested. For a similar age range have you played Qwirkle? A really nicely made game that can be played quite young (about 6 I think)

Got DH the much-recommended Dixit for Christmas - I think we're going to play it a lot.

Otherwise, Ticket to Ride, and Pointless, a lot.

toffeelatteplease is that Astronauts by wildcards? I've just seen it on Amazon - looks good.

How long does Lords of Waterdeep take to play?

We like forbidden Island, but after quite a few plays we found it a bit samey. Forbidden dessert is more difficult.
