FALLOUT 4 IS HERE!!!!

I preordered from Amazon and it came today, played for a couple of hours while the small one was at nursery now waiting for everyone to go to bed so I can continue!

So far I'm missing DJ Three Dog but everything else is spot on.

Loving 4. In the run up to its release I started playing Vegas again. Which was surprising as I didn't enjoy it as much as 3..played yet a different character and got shafted by the robot lol. Never mind many others. Right dirty fucker my character was.. Trying to find another one on 4 Grin

Have spent wasted an hour today sorting out Home Plate it's looking a bit gorgeous lots of shelving but can only store stuff in the bureau or in trunks not on shelves Biscuit

Personally I'm collecting Nuke Cola Quantum's and Cherry's as I'm sure there's going to be a quest where I have to hand some over. I've got loads of them lined up in my Diamond City house.

You're supposed to scarp them for cloth and leather - but I just collect them and put them in "my" bedroom in Sanctuary Grin

I had to abandon power armour I got chased by a sentrybot and nearly drowen. Its now at the bottom of a river somewhere!

You can check which perks you've got in the status menu I'm another one who doesn't often bother with power armour I do like the ability to modify my armour

You have to keep impressing tour companion. It will tell you in the upper left "companian liked/disliked that"
Then eventually the will admire you and then at some point they will initiate a conversation with you and you'll get the perk (might not be the first conversation)

My companion is currently Deacon, he likes me picking locks and dislikes drugs

Tell me about these companion perks. How will I know when I've got them and how do I get them? Do I keep them when I change companion?

I have the companion perk for MacCready and Codswallop so far. I did start with Deacon but he is a PITA as he whinges about violence. How on earth are you supposed to play the game without killing anyone? Confused I got fed up with him and switched to Danse. I am ready to go to the Institute but want to get a load more companion perks first.

I love strong I want to work through Curie's quest but am getting nowhere fast so have jumped to McCready for a while I did like the artillery at The Castle
