Good for you OP for going to live in Dubai to make a better life for yourself and your family. If anyone has that kind of opportunity to expand their lives they should take it! Two points:
1 - I find it strange that people have been having a go at you about the homosexuality laws in UAE talking about inclusivity when they then are not so inclusive of immigrants who come over from countries where the UK has been a big participant of their instability and inevitable downfall. I really don't think the UK can talk about human rights records, they are the worst for colonisation so let's look inwards for a moment before judging others. Just ask Ireland regarding UK's human rights records, you don't really have to look far...
2 - For someone like yourself looking to get away from so called immigrants, what made you choose a Muslim country to do that in? Seeing as those immigrants are escaping countries made unstable from foreign so called 'western' intervention? Essentially, the only difference between an immigrant and an expat is the passport.
Dubai would be an amazing place to live, I know it from those who have grown up and are from there. However, I do find it ironic for those who are a bit EDL or Reform then moving out or visiting Dubai, being surrounded by shock horror - Muslims!
What a world we live in, where we are separated by borders created by men, told that this is our piece of land that we must protect whilst invading and pillaging others who live in peace and do not have a way to protect themselves from greater powers. Sad state of affairs.
