Strawberry blonde/ginger hair

This is my DD hair at 3 years old. Ive been told my a few people it is likely to darken to a warm brown/auburn by the time she is a pre-teen. I know it is impossible to say for sure as everyone is unique but from your experience how likely do you think it is she will keep her strawberry blonde/ginger hair?

Mine is this colour ; if anything, it’s lightened as I’ve got older. I’m in my 50s now and it’s still this colour, with natural highlights from this summer. My hairdresser says I’m in the 1% of her clients who doesn’t colour their hair and that my hair is the healthiest as a result (it’s shoulder length and I have it cut 4 or 5 times a year, just use supermarket shampoo, so very low maintenance in terms of both time and money). I’ve also has a lifetime of having the very fair skin to match, so high spf has always been part of my routine and I’m reaping the rewards of it now as my skin does not look like it’s been on my face for more than half a century!
As I’ve got older, I’ve also realised that having an unusual feature can be flexed to your advantage - I’m ordinary looking but people remember me because of my hair. All I have to do is make sure I’m memorable for the right reasons!

Yes red hair discolours slightly differently to other hair types so you don't get the "grey" of other hair colours.

Mine and my daughters hair was like this I'm firmly ginger as is my daughter but she is only 6 so chance to change. My daughter has always been very proud of her "orange" hair

DS went from strawberry blonde to ginger, but I suspect a lot of that is that he spends less time outside in the sun nowadays. The main difference is that it’s gone quite wavy and it used to be dead straight.

Mine was similar at her age, probably a bit blonder actually. It is pretty much the same colour now at 45, maybe slightly darker but definitely not brown or auburn.
My brother had ginger hair as a child too and his is more of an auburn now, he’s definitely still a “redhead” but not ginger

Mine was like this. The red reduced over time and the blonde darkened a bit. People still talk of me being a redhead, though.

My daughter’s hair was that color. She is now 39 and it has darkened a very little bit, but not much. She also has beautiful blonde highlights all over.

Me too. It won't go darker but the seasons will affect the shade. Despite never having dyed my hair, people have always asked me if its highlighted or dyed, even hairdressers because of this.
