Self assessment includes a box where you describe the work you do.
You also need to work out your allowable expenses which would include a percentage of the costs of working from home, utility costs, council tax, as well as other consumables. It's possible to do this yourself (I have for years) but rather tricky if you want to ask an accountant.

What do you think she ought to write in that box?

Any lawfully earned (as is this case) income is taxable.

Are you implying the OP should commit tax fraud by not reporting her income?

I wish but I’ve tried and can’t x if I gave away sectors it might give away identity x but avenues are exhausted x

My mind has very occasionally slipped to this as a solution rather than working (I don't really need to work as have paid off mortgage and have investments so I work part time and near home) but I would never seriously consider this. Apart from the physical side I fear it would mess with my mind too much.

You’ve only got to look at another post here about a high class hooker who was forced into the job and seems emotionally troubled now.

The government should make arrangements to improve the safety of the environment of women who choose to do this. Maybe then I would be expecting them to pay taxes.
