So sorry you’re having to go through this!

I had the same medication for a missed miscarriage. It wasn’t the best experience but it was over quickly if that helps. I basically just had very painful period cramps with heavy bleeding. Lasted around 1hr and came on within half an hour of taking the medication.
I was also sick and felt quite faint - but that is typical of when I have period pains any way.

My advice would be to have lots of heavy flow period pads ready, be somewhere you’re very comfortable, maybe take some paracetamol if you can with the medication (might have taken the edge off if I had). Have somewhere to lie down in case you feel faint, and that is near a bathroom as you’ll need to change the pads often, maybe a bucket if you feel sick. If you can have someone with you / around who you trust then in case you need anything else they can sort it for you.

Everyone’s experience and pain tolerance is different though, sharing mine in case it helps.

Side effects are very rare. But do have a emergency back up person in case. I'm pro choice so won't suggest your should not do it. But if this panic is coming at a secret desire to not to do it? Then contact the bpas organisation. Look after yourself x
