Our local NHS dentist has been taken over and still does NHS work but really slowly For example my check up was due in February but they have a 'backlog' and are still working through December's appointments. Therefore I might get seen in a few months but appointments and check ups from now on sound like they will be hit and miss.
I am wondering if it is time to bite the bullet and get a private treatment plan at the same dentist or one nearby. Are they worth it? Can you tell the difference? I have had two fillings in the last ten years, one was a replacement so fairly low risk but I am nearly 50 and want to keep my teeth healthy.
Also need the teenagers checked, feel check ups that are nearly a year late isn't good enough.
