Is there a sickness bug going round at the moment?

Evening all i come to ask anyone, is there a sickness bug going around.

I dont have it but have heard people talking about some bug/ sickness bug going around.

I’ve had a cold for about a week, husband had ot just before me and it wiped him out. Hate being ill in the summer ..

Yes. My son’s nursery have had a number of kids and staff off with it.

And a local school closed an entire year group as so many kids had been ill, the class rooms had to be deep cleaned.

I dont have kids but that sounds rough.

What is a 'sickness bug'? Diarrhoea, vomiting, fever, a cold or something else???

A friend has had diarrhoea for a week. No vomiting and feeds otherwise well. she has no idea where she got it from so its unlikely to be a local epidemic.

Yeh me either but my cousin’s child is sick too. I definitely think somethings doing the rounds…

There’s always a sickness bug going round imo.

A few weeks ago I had diarrhoea for over a week. Don’t know where I got that from, but DH was absolutely fine. Then not long after DS2 had projectile vomiting and diarrhoea for 48hrs. He works in A&E so he reckons he picked it up from there. He’s always seeing, mainly children, people with D&V.

But where are you?? A sickness bug in Inverness will be irrelevant if you’re in Newquay 🤷🏼‍♀️

I've developed a cold last week. It has really affected my nose to which, I woke up at 2am with a nose bleed and it is still slightly dripping now. Saturday afternoon I started with diahorrea for about 4 hours. All very odd.

There are loads of sickness bugs going around all the time everywhere. We cannot tell you if there’s one in your specific local area right now.

Yes! DD and DS had it thurs / Friday, they weren’t too bad. Hit me early hours Saturday I was vomiting from 3am - 12pm every single half an hour couldn’t even keep water down. Completely wiped me out. 2days on feel much better

I've got a friggin cold. Had it for a few days, mainly affecting my sinuses. Felt bad today, no energy. I've had diarrhoea for days too. I'm down south and apparently where I live there is a virus doing the rounds.
