There was a notorious white coat dress with a big collar which M wore to the Platinum Jubilee church service, I think. It was the occasion where they were booed as the descended the steps, after Megxit.

The outfit raised eyebrows because a) it was a Dior copy of an outfit worn by Wallis Simpson. Exactly what message she was sending is open to speculation! Or if she was even aware it was a tactless choice? b) it was very strongly suspected that she and H were wearing microphones under their clothes and Megan can be seen repeatedly fiddling with the collar. It was the occasion where they questioned their seating allocation, and also, the Handsome Equerry, Major Johnnie, was placed directly behind the pair..

I don’t know if Charles was still paying but I image it must have cost a eye-watering sum.

Harry and Meghan never announced they were no longer senior/working RF. They announced that they were stepping back a bit but remaining senior/working RF and would still be representing the Queen (all this without even asking the Queen whether she wanted them to represent her in this half-in, half-out way). Of course, that was never going to fly.

I remember seeing those pictures and my first instinct was to feel sorry for her, that it must be hard knowing how to dress when you have the spotlight on you. However, as I saw more awful outfits, I did think she had the resources to get the best advice in the world and her poor fashion choices were avoidable. I remember struggling to pick a dress for a very fancy wedding when I was in a Frasers store years ago and the assistant calling for the store stylist, who picked me something amazing. If I could afford that on a teacher’s salary, I am sure M could afford to seek advice.

Did she also think that English people put a toilet roll on their head, in case they get caught short?

She has never , ever once looked a patch on Diana .

This one is my favourite because you can accidentally wear the same type of dress or colour but you have to make an effort to do the same pose.

The other thing I wanted to say was at the Commonwealth day service at Westminster (the last official engagement where she wore the hideous green which pulled like buggery over her fake tits they kicked off before the event too.
The Senior RF arrives in a processional with the Queen - so it was supposed to be HM, Charles And Camilla, William and Catherine, Harry and Meghan.
Due to Harry and Meghan announcing they were no longer Senior/working RF any more they were removed from the processional and would therefore be seated when HM arrived and walked up the aisle with C&C, W &C - and all hell broke loose. They were furious at being ‘downgraded’ and even more furious that William and Catherine would not be seated .
So, rather than bring more burden on HM William and Catherine announced that they would be seated when HM arrived too rather than be in the processional .
That to me showed how sensible and mature they are.
And that is why they completely and utterly ignored H&M.

Meghan still has no idea what the royal family is about.

Constitutionally, I doubt there will be many changes to the role of the Sovereign as head of state or the system of succession, things that require a government role.

As for the royal family, I think we've already seen many of the changes that will happen under William happening now and even at the end of the Queen's reign - a smaller, slimmed-down royal family, just the Sovereign, spouse, direct heirs and spouses and younger children of direct heirs, not all the uncles, aunts, cousins, third cousins, wives of second cousins once removed, etc. In terms of charity and community work, there will be a focus on communities around the country, apolitical social issues. There won't be dozens of people on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, for example.

Awful. Again, how much did Charles pay for that dress? The dreadful hat as well. Why didn't she use a hairdresser? What an absolute mess.

The ‘hideous blue and white’ was an Oscar de la Renta that she wore in June 2018 to the wedding of Harry’s cousin Celia McCorquadale .
I agree it was bloody awful on her -far too big. Why did nobody tell her??
And her hair. My god. Mine used to look like that when I went out out then woke up late for work and had exactly 2 mins to get dressed and get out of the house.

I think the hideous blue and white dress was before they married ? Maybe she thought that was how British women dressed ?
As for that blue pleated horror think she was wearing her Spanx / chub rubs under it - wrong colour though.

It absolutely was, she was deliberately copying that famous photo of Diana as a nursery assistant holding two small children and her skirt appeared to be see through.

There may be comments about how long Catherine waited, but she watched what went on, listened to people and above all learned from people.

Ultimately she will have the greatest say in what changes are made to the monarchy in the next 40-50 years, whereas Meghan, who rushed in to try to change things without taking time to understand, will have had little effect.

I think in this case Meghan had to go one better and just do see through full stop.

Someone cleverer than me could collate all the times MM has directly (and not very subtley) referenced Diana's wardrobe from some moments which became legendary Diana looks. I can think of one or two at least. Not a good look on so many levels.
