Yes it was - I’d forgotten that. Although M is undeniably pretty, with her severe centre parting and pulled back hair she does sometimes look very like Wallis! If this is deliberate, and it does look suspicious, it’s a really odd thing to channel. It’s not going to endear her to those who pick up on the reference and it will go over the heads of most younger people. And it seems like a very passive aggressive message to be giving the royals themselves.

It was always very unlikely that William would do anything after the 20 th anniversary film. He tends to mean what he says. The subsequent antics of his brother and uncle have made it even more unlikely. Who wants to be seen as operating on their grubby level?

I can remember that photo of Diana but honestly I never really think of Meghan and Diana at the same time. It took another posters comment to make me connect the two pictures and how Meghan could even think she was Diana mark 2 in that picture is beyond me.

Im more inclined to think of my mum anytime Diana comes up as they died within days of each other.

He passed away in the last few days. The visit could have been prior to that and I can see it happening - Mike would probably call Harry an arsehole to his face then hand him a can of lager, and Zara would be polite and ask Meghan if she wanted wine or coffee whilst they waited for the takeaway to arrive.

This is really weird. Not showing up on threads I’m on or threads I’m watching even though when I’m here and look at the little icon it shows I’m watching.
It’s not listed in the Royal Family section even though it says Royal Family above Jeff’s name.
The only way for me to find this thread is through the link in the last thread.

Oh well. I shall go to sleep now and see if it is different in the morning.

Thanks for new thread. It’s hard to find! Not showing in Royals section and when I “watched” it from the link in the last thread it still doesn’t show in my “watching” list. Weird. Or is there some scullduggery going on.

She hasn't got what it takes to be successful on the level she was aiming for. Having a title doesn't compensate for lack of talent and creativity and capacity for hard work. The only surprise really is that it took NF etc that long to realise it.
