@Fortuity I love WILTY? Don't remember him appearing though. Was he bad? Or good?

Fortuity · 23/10/2026 08:45

redboxer321 · 22/10/2026 21:28

Agree. Don't like him as a comedian either. The only funny thing he ever said is that his girlfriend left him for Mr Bean.

You should watch him on Would I Lie To You?

GobbolinoAndSootica · 23/10/2026 08:41

Fortuity · 23/10/2026 08:34

Agreed. And they should have made everyone take their shoes off, or done it outdoors on grass where there would be no issue around floorboards.

What would be the point in that? It doesn't need to be easy for the traitors.

Fortuity · 23/10/2026 08:35

sweetpickle2 · 22/10/2026 20:55

Maya and James are idiots for voting for Jerry- she’s a perfect faithful, she has no clue!

Also, if the faithful go back to the Ross murder, it does leave them most firmly in the frame.

Fortuity · 23/10/2026 08:34

littlbrowndog · 22/10/2026 20:53

Agree crap task where floorboards could be heard

I did wonder if Miranda withdrawing her floorboard argument was because she realised it implicated Maya and she's either keeping her suspicions close to her chest or she doesn't want to have a confrontation with her at the RT.

Oooh I like this theory
take it to the end Miranda Marple….

PuppyMonkey · 23/10/2026 08:30

James A was just doing what he needed to in order to survive and sod everyone else and the task. Anyone would think he was a baddie or something. Grin

sweetpickle2 · 23/10/2026 08:27

I disagree that James A should be booted out, his reluctance to do the task makes for interesting telly- which is ultimately the main point. Same as REG’s antics.

OsfameronTanamoril · 23/10/2026 08:27

Fortuity · 23/10/2026 08:25

On the other hand, they achieved no more than they would have done if they just stood still, so maybe he had the right idea.

But they tried. It's all in the try.
I don't blame them for panicking. It's a hard task, especially when one bottles it.

Fortuity · 23/10/2026 08:25

OsfameronTanamoril · 22/10/2026 20:32

Really awful of James A to dump everything on Maya and Kenny.

the80sweregreat · 23/10/2026 08:22

If Sharon was a traitor would she hi light the poison bottles ? It’s a risky strategy , but I guess they are all suspicious. The fact that she isn’t one must be frustrating for her as she seems to want to find clues and everyone is just pointing the fingers instead

GobbolinoAndSootica · 23/10/2026 08:15

If I'd been a traitor, I'd be so annoyed by James A selfish behavior, I'd forgo the task be over his area making some noise to make people suspect him. 🤣

Not even taking his blindfold off - what an immature prat!

Mimosaandonwards · 23/10/2026 08:13

It's funny that Sharon, having actually spoken out strongly about the perfume bottles, is now considered to be a potential traitor.

I hope the traitors are better in the next mission. This one really wasn't good at all.

the80sweregreat · 23/10/2026 08:09

The poster of the potions that Sharon asked them to look at is a massive clue, but they didn’t seem that interested!

Richard and Marina well worth listening to today. Key points:

The “broke the format” rumour that has been circulating was about this task. As Richard says, the production team play the tasks over and over to make sure they are achievable but Maya genuinely didn’t seem to have understood what they were supposed to do!

They also said of the 11 people left, 6 of them haven’t had a single vote at the table yet so it will be interesting to see how those people cope with challenge under pressure.

If this was regular Traitors they’d be throwing James as under the bus as a liability.

Yes the Traitors were so terrified of being exposed that they appeared to be unable to even focus on the game at all. And Acaster blousing out was a shock to them too. All kudos to Kenny for realizing that moving around would be a good technique!

The weak faithful theory, and the idea they should not be left, also works from a viewer angle. You could exchange 'weak' for 'less famous/interesting'. I am quite annoyed that Jerry and Ross left. They were very entertaining. I suppose that is the game, but we risk being left without all the fun ones. In viewer terms (for me, anyway), I don't want a final with Maya, James A, Bash, Leigh-Anne, Joanne etc.
I want Romesh, Miranda, Micheal to stay.

I agree with this. The casting for this was clearly for demographic reach but something about the game itself does mean that the strongest faithfuls and the most entertaining ones could all go leaving the ones I had never heard of but oddly am even less interested in then in the non celebrity version.

If Romesh goes I am going to be so disappointed. He. Joe and Rob were such good value and I really don’t care much about some of this cast at all. I love the comedians but Acaster is sort of muzzled as a Traitor.

Maya is playing very well of course (despite the lame shield task 🤷‍♀️) she is nothing like as interesting as Miranda to me. She is beautiful of course but she’s a reality tv presenter. There is almost nothing interesting to me about that I’m afraid.

Kenny is a brilliant traitor though. He has made it more interesting.

I blame REG for skewing it all from the beginning. Eejit.

Joanne reminds me of the hard one in Derry Girls.
Ross sends himself up in an advert where he’s crawling in a ditch and a neighbour goes past on a bike and they say morning to each other.
Wish Ross and Jerry were still in it, losing interest

Traitors who fail / refuse to engage in the task should be banished.

One of the ironies of the game structure is that to win as a faithful, you are better off deciding who you really think the Traitors are, then keeping quiet about it ( ideally telling a very trusted other faithful). Then, to win, you need to subtly eliminate other faithfuls first before turning on the traitors at the end. The faithfuls traitor hunting as a pack is a myth because to win you need to eliminate them too.
For example, if Miranda did correctly identify Maya Jama (from the creaking floorboards) she is better off keeping quiet about it or rejecting the theory, as she did.

True enough.

Exactly what Jas, the smartest player of all time, did... argh, but Mollie was so smitten with Harry, she couldn't bring herself to vote for him, even though it was one of the very few occasions when you really could use logic!

I wonder if the Faithfuls will figure out that if Jerry and Ross are Faithfuls, likely at least one of the other two in the library were Traitors.
But they don't seem to have figured that out.

This is shaping up to be like UK S1 where all the dull and useless Faithful survived.
Though to be fair the fun ones like Blunty also have no clue.
