You do realise it's a game ?

The real question is, does he?

CaptainMyCaptain · 23/10/2026 14:09

AlwaysExtraHot · 23/10/2026 13:54

Do you mean me?
Yes, he is. Problem with my choice of words? (Actually I said 'a fucking disgrace').
He let the others down and threw them for the rest of the task. I think he's on thin ice regarding the traitors' oath. And of course he's been whinging and stropping about not wanting to be a traitor right from when he was recruited.
Big-boy pants time, James.

You do realise it's a game ?

GobbolinoAndSootica · 23/10/2026 14:03

happinessischocolate · 23/10/2026 09:34

Agreed

maybe if the producers had actually explained to the traitors beforehand what the task was they could have had a plan

id like to have seen Maya and kenny running around making noise and causing chaos whilst James built the puzzle

alan was very brazen last year with his murders in plain sight so unfortunately they’re going to avoid doing anything noticeable.James said in an interview that they were all avoiding being funny like Alan was 😂

Don't think there was anything wrong with the task. They just werent successful.

Kenny had it figured out - both with the idea they take two pieces and build the trator sheild and the strategy of making noise in different places.

Maya crumbled and panicked because it was the first time she has actual faced a challenge as a traitor. Having up to recently not displaying any strategic thought - just costed through being undetected.

James was a wet blanket. The whole point was it was a challenge for the traitors to move while the people next to them were listening.

We're getting to the stage where we might only have people left who have never been named/questioned at the round table. Don't think Maya or James will cope with suspicion on them!!

Kenny for the win for me 👑

queenceleste · 23/10/2026 13:56

I agree if they had thought of it they could have made a load of noise away from their positions & created a distraction while one traitor did the puzzle - good hindsight strategy! They were clearly discombobulated.

I like the idea that some players have theories they are hiding even from the diary room.

Acaster did totally blouse the task but Kenny also kind of bloused the murder in plain sight. Did he spray and run away?

AlwaysExtraHot · 23/10/2026 13:54

Only whoever wins is going to get any money for their charity, and as there’s literally nothing you can do to prevent your own murder, and not a whole lot you can do to prevent your own banishment once there’s some heat on you, I can’t imagine anyone’s massively motivated by their own charity at this point.

I mean, it’s not Red Nose Day, it’s a light entertainment show with paid participants, most of whom are in the entertainment industry — the prize pot going to charity is just to try to replicate as far as possible the format of the non-celebrity version where the participants aren’t paid and are competing for a money prize. It’s pretty much Last One Laughing in the sense of people in the same industry trying to catch one another out.

So the celebrity Traitors is always going to feel different to the non-celebrity, because there’s not the same motivation to win, and also because your fellow-competitors are basically your colleagues. You’re all making a tv show together.

I much prefer that, because there’s something sad in watching someone’s utter disappointment at being murdered or banished because it steals their chance of winning a life-changing sum of money.

'I much prefer that, because there’s something sad in watching someone’s utter disappointment at being murdered or banished because it steals their chance of winning a life-changing sum of money.'

I agree with you on this bit, for sure. I don't really enjoy the normal traitors for this reason. Although half the time they clearly just want a TV career, which is annoying.

AlwaysExtraHot · 23/10/2026 13:31

That task was baffling, and too hard for the traitors to pull off.
James A is a fucking disgrace. Maya was so much nicer about it than I'd have been. Kenny is impressive.
Weird that Miranda identified having Joanne on one side of her but not Maya on the other.
Has Miranda said anything to the others to back up Leigh Anne that she was just cheering her up?
Joanne picking food out of her teeth in front of them all made me gag. And yes, she got very prickly. Wonder if she might be banished next.
I wanted to hear more about Jerry's chickens and veg patch! I loved that they gave her a standing ovation. I suspect there is a lot more to her than we saw and they edited her to follow the narrative of her being in 'Jerry World'.
I wonder if they've murdered Romesh. He's inoffensive and it would create confusion and chaos.

Onetimeusername1 · 23/10/2026 13:30

I will see this series through but I don't think I'll bother if they put on another Celebrity Traitors, it's all too nicey nice. It is interesting that the first two episodes did seem to cut away to discussions away from the round table where people were trying to rally for voting against someone, the last two it's been tumble-weed.

DoNotGoGorgeously · 23/10/2026 13:18

MerryAquaKoala · 23/10/2026 10:44

James A, Romesh and others are showing us the very worst self indulgent trait of being an overpaid minimally talented self absorbed celebrity. Get over yourselves and get on with it FGS, it's pathetic. And meanwhile they don't seem to give a damn about raising money for their charities. As long as they get paid for turning up eh.

Only whoever wins is going to get any money for their charity, and as there’s literally nothing you can do to prevent your own murder, and not a whole lot you can do to prevent your own banishment once there’s some heat on you, I can’t imagine anyone’s massively motivated by their own charity at this point.

Can I just mention Joanne picking food out of her teeth with those awful green nails? 🤮

Yes! That was absolutely revolting. Hope she watches it back and learns not to do it.

I didn’t like Jerry from what I saw of her in the castle, but she seemed like a totally different person on Uncloaked. Relaxed and funny. The editing did her a real disservice.

Beachtastic · 23/10/2026 12:59

I actually nodded off during last night's episode.

Sadly, I think the Alan Carr series is a hard act to follow.

sweetpickle2 · 23/10/2026 08:27

I disagree that James A should be booted out, his reluctance to do the task makes for interesting telly- which is ultimately the main point. Same as REG’s antics.

Edited

Exactly!

PuggyPuggyPuggy · 23/10/2026 12:21

IberianLynx · 22/10/2026 21:52

I thought that Joanne/Miranda dynamic was interesting, when Miranda tried to nicely accuse Joanne. I think she was massively intimidated by Joanne after that.

Joanne totally bullied Miranda out of her theory with her psycho stare 😬

workworkworknofun · 23/10/2026 09:44

If you don't want to be a traitor, why go on a show called 'the traitors'? There is always a chance you will be recruited.

True, but there is usually the chance to turn it down - there haven’t been very many forced recruitments over the series, and the last two traitors series didn’t have any recruitments at all (last civilian and last celeb). Lots of them go in wanting to be traitor hunters. It’s really unusual to be a forced “murder or recruit” so early in the game.

MerryAquaKoala · 23/10/2026 11:03

At least rosskemp got very involved in all the tasks, has played the game, has been involved provided input all along. Rather than some of the others who've done nothing / minimal and spent time being silent or minor sniping.

This is true!
I like how into it he got.

WhereverIlaymycatthatsmyhome · 23/10/2026 11:41

I think they should murder Romesh. He’s very clearly a Faithful and has no heat on him.

Booomerrranger · 23/10/2026 11:12

I liked Rosskemp in the castle. He made a great Faithful. I’m not so keen on him generally.

James A is a massive disappointment. I hope they throw him under the bus sometime soon.

I’m not in the ‘I lurrve Jerry’ camp. I find her boring. There are far more interesting people in the castle.

That's true. He did well on the tasks.

MerryAquaKoala · 23/10/2026 11:05

If this is the best that the Editors have to work with - it's definitely a celebrity issue. Several poor choices.

😂 he does come across as being rather self important

I've never liked RK. He was once married to Rebakah Brooks too so another Murdoch link.

Edited to say, I liked him in Extras. Although I'm not sure the pompousness of the character would have been much of a stretch.
