Please help me find a dark dress, for a size 20, apple shape

Hello!

I am in desperate need of a dress and really hoping someone can help.

It is for a winter party. I am a size 20 and carry most of weight around my stomach so nothing satin, silk etc as I find it's not very flattering. It needs to fall below the knee. And up to about £60.

I rarely wear dresses and am conscious of my size and just can't find anything I like and think I will feel good in.

I think this dress that @24Dogcuddler posted is great - can be really dressed up for a party. It’s dark, below the knee, not satin or silk, ticks all the boxes and it’s in stock in a 20

This floral from River Island is pretty despite the model’s odd stance. And would help give you a waist. The other one is kind of glam on a seventies way, it comes in plum too.

I am an Apple shape whether I’m a size 20 or a 12 and find this style of dress from monsoon flattering and just at my knee (5’5’’). I used to spend £80-120 on them but find vinted have some in great condition for under £20 delivered.

What about a skirt and top co ord? This sequin one comes in brown, red, purple or black. You’d be able to wear the skirt with a jumper and boots after the party and the top with your jeans or wide leg trousers.

colour, length, whatever you want really and they have many, many options for a size 20.
