Are you not cold? It's freezing here in Somerset and tipping it down 😐

I'm wearing scrubs and I'm up to my ears in bandaging.
Not the horrible hospital scrubs which are ugly and ill fitting, I bought my own scrubs which are very well made and fit perfectly.
Just because I'm at work doesn't mean I can't look good 😁

Today was a day of boating in different forms, standing on a riverbank and hefting a rowing boat around for the teens. Then the weather was lovely so we went sailing for a few hours.

I’m off for a mooch around a market a few villages away - not been before, hoping to pick up some leggings for days when I’m just at home. When I get back I should be fence painting, but don’t feel up to it today, so I’ll be lounging around in comfort, hopefully with plenty of cat cuddles.

I’m at a wedding

Yesterday’s outfit - popped into see a friend for a bit then did a couple of errands and the food shop. Today is not documented, repurposed threadbare stuff for some half-hearted fence painting! My long Gillette is getting a lot of use 😂. It will feature heavily as it gets colder, I’ll be reattaching the sleeves and the hood. I’m definitely not a fashionista, I’m not working due to chronic health stuff, so my wardrobe is simple, inexpensive and, if something works for me, then I utilise it to the max

That sounds really tough, I hope they’re able to schedule your surgery soon. Our everyday clothing can have much more of an impact when we feel like shit health wise, so I won’t try to find any platitudes. Just a simple I hope you feel as comfortable as possible in the meantime.

Im annoyed because my recent long wait for stomach surgery (non life threatening) means I cant eat until Ive had it, all my clothes are too big and everything is baggy.
Im wearing what used to be tight M&S flared jeggings and a fat face cream jumper with
silver sparkly flip flops.
Im now size 8 and look much too thin for my height. It isnt attractive.

So pleased I came across this thread. This week, I’ve had a proper inspection of everything in my wardrobe. I’ve catalogued everything I’m keeping on Stylebook (though my photography is terrible 😂). I’ve got a couple of piles of stuff to take to our hospice charity depot. And I’ve got some seasonal stuff ready to pack away until next year. I’ve still got drawers to go through, but I think they’ll be much easier.

Yesterday felt quite autumnal here, was out and about running boring errands. Today is a bit overcast, but pleasantly warm, just pottering at home.
