DLA WAIT TIMES 2026 - AUG/SEPT/OCT

I made a new thread as the other one consisted mainly of July/August claims. Feel free to insert scan date for the above months and whether it’s a new claim or MR and update when you have been awarded ! Good Luck 🤞🏽

I’m not sure 🙈 maybe ask for them to make sure you’re signed up to receive a text message when a decision is made. And whilst they’re on the phone… can they update you on the status?

She said something along the lines of all children on his age needs constant supervision which I guess they do. But he’s 19 months old can’t crawl, walk. He has low muscle tone so don’t eat very well either relys on being spoon fed soft foods. At 15 months he had a soggs assessment which stated he was developing around the age of 8-10 months and nothing has changed since I that. So I don’t know where to go from here is it worth doing a MR or just leave it! We currently waiting on genetics, speech therapy dietician etc. I’m unable to go back to work due to him having complete meltdown in environments he don’t know and to be honest the thought of leaving him with a stranger that don’t know his likes/ dislikes and having other children to look after at the same time makes me feel sick. They did say when he starts pre school the health visitor have put the forms in for him to have a 1:1 but obviously with just a child minder for the time being that’s not possible

Told I should hear in a few weeks 😬

was told a few days ago that it’s taking around 12 weeks for a decision

You’re two days behind me! Let’s hope for an answer in the next couple of weeks - I’m panicking now that I didn’t go into enough detail in the application, I didn’t know what I was doing!

If you feel like this I suggest you grab a pen and paper and write what you missed and send it again as extra evidence just to ease your mind x

Hi, new claim, scan date 4/9. Good luck to everyone waiting. I saw a previous poster saying September scan dates are likely to have a decision by January 😞 hope it’s not that long.
