@SBParker99 it's because it's worked out over 52 weeks then divided by 12 mines paid weekly but obviously sometimes you may get 5 weeks in a month x

SBParker99 · 17/12/2021 12:42

@Alk19 but carers allowance don’t even add up to 292 so why are they deducting such a high amount? it’s 268 a month roughly isn’t it?

DeludedWench · 17/12/2021 12:41

@LovingLanz5 okay. I will call back, thank you ❤

Alk19 · 17/12/2021 12:41

@SBParker99 no it automatically updates UC once you have your backpay through carers they will take it from your UC straight away though they took £292 of my UC within a week of getting my back pay then now I have 292 a month deducted for carers and then they take £50 a month for the backpay I now owe them x

LovingLanz5 · 17/12/2021 12:40

@DeludedWench
Please keep strong. Sending love and light. I know your suffering inside and you can't see any way forward but you'll get the result you and your family need. Xx

LovingLanz5 · 17/12/2021 12:39

@DeludedWench
Have you asked to speak to a case manager? I did yesterday and they called me back in 2hrs.. no further forward apart from very apologetic, will investigate the rude gentleman I spoke 2 the other day. She said they are working all weekend and upto Friday next week, so she is very hopefully ill have answers. They should be on 13/10 today. Definitely ask for a manager

SBParker99 · 17/12/2021 12:37

@Alk19 when you got careers allowance did you need to tell them or did they automatically get updates? i don’t know if i need to tell them or not

DeludedWench · 17/12/2021 12:32

They are waiting for medical services still. I asked if I could speak to them and was told 'no, they don't do call backs'.

Somebody please help me 😔

DeludedWench · 17/12/2021 12:19

In a call queue, feeling hopeful but I'm guessing it's going to be the same answer as I haven't had a text or anything... 😔

Parkle2 · 16/12/2021 16:04

I called this morning out of curiosity. My form was scanned onto the system on 18th October. They said they are currently working on 12th October so maybe next week. I asked if I should be realistic and its likely going to be January and the lady said yeah more then likely :)

DeludedWench · 16/12/2021 14:08

Aww that's nice.. my neighbour has a lovely light display, we didn't do much as we was meant to be in the canaries from next week. I dread wrapping pressies..
A manager will be calling me back at some point today so I'll keep you posted.. x enjoy your day

DeludedWench · 16/12/2021 12:41

I'm going to take a break today lol. Do some wrapping, drive around and see some house lights with the kids.

Then tomorrow, I will put my battle armor on and call lol.

LovingLanz5 · 16/12/2021 11:31

Anyone had any news, mines in a pile for a DM still apparently on the 12th Oct..

Adamd12 · 15/12/2021 19:22

They received mine on the 15th October was told on Monday it’s a 16 week wait, might ring back tomorrow and see if if get a different answer

loopiluna · 15/12/2021 18:17

@LovingLanz5 Aw what an arse, doesn't matter the time, he's working, so he should be professional! Think it's awful the way some of these people are on the phone, they bloody know they are answering to anxious parents and carers! A bit of compassion and understanding would go a long way! Confused Hope you have some luck tomorrow, my fingers and toes are crossed for you! Xxx

LovingLanz5 · 15/12/2021 18:03

@loopiluna
That's positive news, thank you for letting me know.. I may give a sneaky call 2mora afternoon. Wishing you all the best.. when I called Tues the rude gentleman was like they still on the 12th.. he was being a shite prob because my call got through after 5.20pm lol

loopiluna · 15/12/2021 17:49

Aw ladies, really feel for you all, it's so draining and exhausting waiting! I phoned today, my sons were received on the 15th Oct. I was told it was with the decision maker and they will definitely have made their decision this week and the decision letter will arrive next week. Hope that's true as it sounds like they are just telling people a lot of bs! We need some good news round here!! Sad

LovingLanz5 · 15/12/2021 17:28

How you feeling @DeludedWench sorry there was no change. I relented and called after 40mins in hold i cut off, I thought I can't be miserable again 2night, already pee'd having to cancel my Lanzarote Xmas holiday because of gov restrictions and this long wait tipped me over the edge yesterday had a good cry. My husband gave me some words of wisdom(he is quite laid back) whereas I like to be in control and I'm not and it's really throwing me off sync. Clear your mind, chill out tonight and tomorrow then try Friday 1st thing. Xx

DeludedWench · 15/12/2021 17:21

No change.

LovingLanz5 · 15/12/2021 14:59

Aww no bless you. I feel your pain that's how I've been also. Always seems to be on our minds. Hopefully when you call its positive, I think I'm going to wait until tomorrow or maybe Friday sick to my stomach of that awful hold music Grin

DeludedWench · 15/12/2021 13:41

@LovingLanz5 very anxious. Losing sleep, aching body from stress, in turn a moaning husband when I ask for a back rub lol!

I may ring after the school run, see if medical services have got back to our case worker.

How are you?

LovingLanz5 · 15/12/2021 09:27

We are on the old system also. Hope everyone is feeling OK and not too anxious,? Sending you all positive thoughts. X

Adamd12 · 14/12/2021 19:52
