Idea for new MN book - 2nd plus kids

Are there/ can there be any plans for another MN book on coping with your 2nd + child? Strikes me there are quite a few who are now on 2nd + pregnancies/ births and all the other books are mainly about the baby rather than coping with a small child + new baby.
Topics could include - coping with jealousy, feedking times, day to day routines, day ofthe birth, getting out and about etc - i'd be interested? Anyone else?
What does MN think?

i would be interested as no.2 is due in dec and i have 20mth old...tips on getting them involved in pregnancy aswell would be good.

i bought that 3 socks one hairbrush whatsit book and i thought it was rubbish. very longwinded and boring, not much useful information really

One on teenagers as well please, long before mine get there (so that's a 7 year deadline! )

Thanks for this. There are a few ideas for new books under discussion and this is a good suggestion...certainly one to mull over at next meeting. We'll keep you informed on any developments.

No, it was by Rebecca Abrams - have just checked it on Amazon.

Anyway, just 'cause it has been done before doesn't mean there isn't space for more than one or two books on the subject.

There's a book called something like "three shoes one sock" or something like that, by Libby Purves I think, which is about the transition from one child to two....

I think it's a very good idea. When I was pregnant with my second child I found only one book on the subject (imaginatively titled "Your Second Child"). I can't actually remember anything it said, now.
