Wonder if age is relevant re: The Great Chat Room Debate

That's a good point Tamum - and also with number of years 'online' and number of different chat rooms used in the past.

I just worked out - I've been using the internet since 1994 - so 11yrs - and I'm not quite 26!!!

ooo if we're adding how many chatroom viisted more than once - give me a few days to work out it - think 'roughly' 30-40 - only a small percentage of those sh*te - and they were the 'open to absolutely anyone' general type chat rooms.

Oh how I longed to see my picture.

On reflection I think my mum mught have lied about posting them! I've always been rubbish at art, in retrospect I think she was protecting me from seeing my own inadequacies displayed on a piece of felt covered MDF for the nations pre-teens to see. No amount of soothing music could make my drawing look good

I'm a no, 44 (oh my god how did that happen), MN for two and a bit years, online since the late eighties (bet that's not relevant), looked at a few chatrooms but didn't find anything worth reading.
