Well there we go. Apparently people can't possibly suffer from one of the multitude of Anxiety disorders if they can pass a driving test.

If you believe that Labour "rewards the workshy", could you tell me a) whether you are confident that there were never any fake claims for PIP when the Tories were in power, and b) why you think the proportion of new claims that are successful has been steadily dropping under Labour, and how this downward trend supports their alleged attempts to "reward the workshy"?

I am 100% positive I know these people and their details as I know them well. You choose not to believe me as you don't like facts. PIP is not that hard to get if one knows how to fill in the forms and what to say. There's an industry out of there of people who quite legitimately help people to fill in the forms and because they are back paid from when they first claimed, they agree to pay 50% of their backpay to these people. I don't know of any that have failed in their application with this help.

One is son of acquaintance. Just passed driving test, bought 5 year old BMW, now private number plate and when having his latest review she had to hide his savings as he could only keep 6k in savings (think it's 6k)

Yep. As I suspected you know feck all about PIP. There would be no need for your acquaintance (who is seems unusually keen to share her son's financial circumstances with you) to hide savings.

You might think you know these people's full circumstances but you almost definitely don't have the full picture. PIP is very difficult to get and I simply do not believe you that you know four people who are faking disability. You're just choosing to assume that to suit your narrative. (And before you start assuming I must be on benefits myself, I'm not - I'm very fortunately still able to work, for now, albeit I have various chronic conditions I need to accommodate. But unlike some people I'm actually capable of empathising with those who need extra help in life, especially as I'm likely to need it myself one day.)

Which brings us back round to the consistency of deletions. Is telling somebody to grow up a personal attack? It's hard to keep up. Two posters have said it. Have they both been deleted?

What I found interesting is that PIP is designed to help people cope with the extra costs of their disability. We all understand that for some people this might be a carer, a cleaner, or a mobility scooter etc. But several times I have heard that for people with ADHD, or anxiety, the extra cost is 'taxis, as public transport may be difficult'. I've never actually heard another example - keen to hear them with an open mind.

Do I need to be on benefits to have an opinion? No I don't believe I do. People can talk about what they want, as has been confirmed.
