Why so much hate on MN?

Why so much hate on MN?
Posters hiding behind complaints about the government, presenting themselves as reasonable actors, to push hate about asylum seekers, people with disabilities, benefit claimants..Mostly the same names all day everyday.
I am told to report - MN just not interested.
I am told to hide the thread..
Why isn't moderation better?
I know this will always exist and exists on other platforms but MN makes no effort to even try to anything about it.
You can't really sell MN as a caring, supportive site with all this stuff offered on a daily basis in active.

Yes Labour too will be briefing and pitch rolling hence more articles.

On the other topic Labour don’t like to see mentioned, it is a problem for them.

The thread is about purported ‘hate’ on MN, which includes alleged ‘benefit bashing’.

Personally keen to debunk that with bona fide data/media.

Edit: Other types of ‘hate’ are of course, available.

It would be completely counterproductive and very expensive to means test PIP, so I don't think that will happen. Although possibly an income ceiling could be applied.

Services instead of cash is pie in the sky if the services don't exist. Osborne tried something similar and was shot down in flames by his own party.

When is the final Timms report out?

I wondered why The Guardian would go with that story when I saw an alert. Read it and saw the rich areas line was why.

As Pip isn’t means tested selling in a review and cash changes will impact everyone regardless of income.

It’s an own goal in that way but the rich areas / people line is too attractive. It’ll help Burnham too as Labour MPs could oppose.

It tells you nothing about my attitude to the NHS and everything about my knowledge of the use of private healthcare which I used myself to avoid a two year wait. I can assure you it had nothing to do with taking pressure off the NHS. And I’m one of its biggest supporters.

Idk there’s a few posts below on ‘Pip isn’t means tested’. If they stir up enough of the below about ‘rich areas’ getting via private diagnosis then maybe.

It’s a bit self defeating though as it would then be means tested.

And if it’s not means tested everyone in the group who gets services instead of cash will see that, not just the rich / broadest shoulders / latest Labour line.
