Why so much hate on MN?

I hardly think so. The benefits system is shocking in this country. People who need it struggling and others who play the system coining it in.

Regardless, there’s no reason he should be getting the amount of money he does. When his mother, without an ounce of awareness, says “he gets so much money he doesn’t know what to do with it” it’s wrong. The money is to help people and when others who are truly deserving don’t get it, there is something wrong with the system.

Er, no. Where would society end up if people just stuck their heads in the sand whenever they saw bigotry and injustice being tolerated/perpetuated?

You might want to do a bit of reading about the history of Germany in the 1930s and how Hitler came to power, to give just one example.

Posters hiding behind complaints about the government, presenting themselves as reasonable actors, to push hate about asylum seekers, people with disabilities, benefit claimants..Mostly the same names all day everyday.
I am told to report - MN just not interested.

Why isn't moderation better?
I know this will always exist and exists on other platforms but MN makes no effort to even try to anything about it.
You can't really sell MN as a caring, supportive site with all this stuff offered on a daily basis in active.

Why would I apply for Pip? I don’t need it, don’t deserve it and even if I did I wouldn’t apply as I am financially secure. Lucky me - there you go, saved you the trouble and, yes, in the past I have claimed benefits but, thankfully managed to get on my feet.

If you are seeing a consultant in a private clinic he or she usually also works for the NHS. Most prioritise their more lucrative work . They can't be in two places at once.

Using private healthcare doesn't take pressure off the NHS. That is a myth.

But, at the risk of sounding childish, you started it. Posters were discussing generally how MN is moderated / free speech/ arguing and you came along and plopped in something about benefit claimants as if the OP was asking 'what groups do you hate and why?' as if you thought you should be able to justify yourself.

I didn't get it at the time and still don't but I guess people will keep on engaging with you.

The thread is about purported ‘hate’ on MN, which includes alleged ‘benefit bashing’.

Personally keen to debunk that with bona fide data/media.
