FWR being trolled by a user called AidaP

Some on FWR were fund raising for him a few months ago.

I am wary around all white people until I know them. It doesnt mean I think Black people need safeguarding against white people. We arent inherently vulnerable to white people like youth makes you inherently vulnerable. Or many brain injuries make you inherently vulnerable.

The thing about inherently vulnerability is that the other person doesn't even have to mean to exploit you for you to be exploited. That is what makes you so vulnerable when you are young or have some forms of cognitive impairment.

Like Black people, women become vulnerable because people who arent white (or women) choose to be discriminatory. It isn't inherent for white people to be racist and it isn't inherent for men to exploit women. Neither group is inherently vulnerable.

Spotting and commenting on someone's "I'm alright Jack" stance is a "personal attack" now?

As for "troll hunting", if someone upthread hadn't posted the results of Advanced Searching a certain poster, that poster's blatant self-contradictions would remain unknown to the other posters on this thread. As it happens, that poster has since gone very very quiet. I cannot possibly think why 🤥

I reply to posts as I scroll down the thread. That's why you get none from me for ages, whilst I do other things, and then several at once when I read Mumsnet.

If you had been raped, you'd know why women are vulnerable to men.

You are familiar with "if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck". If you post like someone who has breezed through life without ever facing male violence, then I will infer, not assume, that you have never faced male violence.

You clearly don't have a rebuttal for any of my points about why women are vulnerable compared to men, because you've resorted to manufactured outrage and personal attacks.

Agreed - surely it is possible to discuss without resorting to troll hunting, personal attacks, accusations of lying, or snide / sarcastic comments and insinuations about other posters?

I do think sometimes we should refrain from posting certain thoughts about a persons personal experience or lack of regarding sexual violence, and i am going to ignore the inference that all white people are racist.

Ive literally never said that!

I post to share my views. I'm not all that interested in peoples views on my views. Especially 16 separate views of my views. And especially where it descended into "you're a man" "you hate women" etc etc. I have.. actually nobody in my life plays those games.

I communicate with a diverse group of Black people with a wide variety of opposing opinions and views. That's just not how we operate, even on topics we all feel extremely passionate about. If you all learn to communicate appropriately, then maybe I'll take more time to read more of the posts

And I think the attempt to bring race into the argument is invidious.
