FWR being trolled by a user called AidaP

Hi MNHQ can you please address the issue of a certain poster called AidaP who is not participating in debate he is just trolling.

to be clear this person is a trans woman who has been convicted of violence and is posting promotion of acts of violence against women elsewhere.

in particular there is one elsewhere about using a roughly hewn rolling pin to rape women.

you realy need to look in to him it is just so not on that he is being allowed to bother us here.

Ive never identified as GC. I said I dont think TWAW. I dont identify with this "movement" of yours at all.

You must know where there are "spotting" sites for mumsnet. Facebook, reddit, etc.

No. Is there?

Well now. That is interesting that you know this and yet chose to come and tell us all how wrong we all are and that you just happened to be reading our posts and how that has completely changed your view on the issues, doesn't it.

The "boy" in question is AidaP. Women have also said "boys will be boys" instead of raising their expectations of male behaviour. Female schoolteachers at my primary school did this. No one is accusing you of being a man. Again, tone-policing through manufactured outrage.

You think any woman who doesnt see the world like you do must have a penis?

Interesting choice of words that can only make sense if you think that women can have penises...

Actually, it is interesting that you went straight to that as an interpretation.

This discussion isn't actually centred on you, despite what you think.

This is the post:

Threatening violent rape with a splintery rolling pin is just banter
Boys will be boys, eh?

I read it and understood that SirChejins was referring to a disturbing social dynamic of some people in general (not YOU) dismissing that rape threat. Do you have an issue with working out what is and is not something posted that directly refers to you?

FranticFrankie · 13/04/2026 15:32

I'm guessing aida is loving this attention
Just a wild guess

kiopsd · 13/04/2026 15:31

didn’t this gloved person start out pretending they’re GC? LOL.

If you post ten posts, expect ten responses.

You are carrying out the most blatant and protracted tone-policing operation that I have ever seen, as well as trying to gaslight women that a published desire to carry out a Section Two sexual assault with a splintery rolling pin isn't a threat of sexual violence.

Isn't tone policing. Telling you that I wont respond to you if I have more than 10 notifications is just me enforcing my boundaries. You can post what you want in whatever tone you want. I'm just telling you how you can get a response back from me.

You have seen other discussions about that particular post on other parts of the internet? Where?

Yeah when one person has quoted me 10x, it is embarrassing.

I’m guessing reddit. So far, so very predictable!

I dont think i am in the minority. I just think you are very invested in seeing the worst in anything a trans person says. If you read other threads about this thread on the Internet, you'll see other people disagree with you, too. Irrespective of whether they think.l TWAW or TWAM. They think this is a reach.

Some people don't understand the nature of an online discussion, where responses are going to be made or reposts used to make a wider point.

Reminds me of a local FB group I was in where someone posted a news article about a local event, I replied to say "Oh that's great about X but I hope it won't affect Y". The original poster replied to say he didn't know, why would I ask him? I replied to say it was just a comment, to which he asked why I kept messaging Hmm A while later I looked at the group and the admin had put me on a week's suspension, so clearly misunderstanding internet discussion is not uncommon...

I understand the nature of online discussions. I just choose not to respond to multiple notifications where I have to keep refinding what comments are actually to me. I have no interest in wading through you guys talking to each other.

GlovedhandsCecilia · 13/04/2026 15:22

Waitingfordoggo · 13/04/2026 13:12

I get that but I’m not sure why you’re so determined to defend Aida when so many women are saying they find his language threatening. Maybe you could just accept that you’re in the minority in feeling the way you do. I just can’t really imagine being so motivated to spend hours telling some people who feel threatened/offended that they are wrong to feel that way.

Threatening violent rape with a splintery rolling pin is just banter but replying to a poster on a discussion board is too much to take. Make it make sense!

The two are unrelated. I just have no interest in wading through masses of posts.

GlovedhandsCecilia · 13/04/2026 15:19

Datun · 13/04/2026 13:46

Why haven't you turned off the notifications???

Because I want to know when someone has directly quoted me, within reason.

GlovedhandsCecilia · 13/04/2026 15:19

selffellatingouroborosofhate · 13/04/2026 15:14

Then don't post on Mumsnet.

I can post. I can also choose where and when to reply.

GlovedhandsCecilia · 13/04/2026 15:18

Datun · 13/04/2026 13:48

I don't even know how you would be spammed here?

Is it even possible??? 😁

I had 33 notifications yesterday. I think it was something like 12 from the same username.

GlovedhandsCecilia · 13/04/2026 15:18

Batties · 13/04/2026 13:19

That’s such a straw man argument.

Its the argument that someone came with. They said its weird that I think TWAM but defend Aida's language. I dont see how the two sre remotely related. Do you?

selffellatingouroborosofhate · 13/04/2026 15:14

GlovedhandsCecilia · 13/04/2026 12:43

I dont want people spamming me on a clunky site

Then don't post on Mumsnet.

It doesn't make sense

Nor does the 'I did think you all had a point but then you all spoke' accusation even have a ring of credibility or make sense.

What makes sense is that these things are said by not just one poster either, to try to present a case to support the women on MN FWR are aggressive, even abusive, with no relevant points to make. It also then becomes a flawed feminist discussion where we are all just supporting the patriarchy in infantilising women and girl with this talk of 'safeguarding' which is fucking false and not never part of any law or policy.

But I would like to be proven wrong here.
