FWR being trolled by a user called AidaP

Hi MNHQ can you please address the issue of a certain poster called AidaP who is not participating in debate he is just trolling.

to be clear this person is a trans woman who has been convicted of violence and is posting promotion of acts of violence against women elsewhere.

in particular there is one elsewhere about using a roughly hewn rolling pin to rape women.

you realy need to look in to him it is just so not on that he is being allowed to bother us here.

Literally no one, other than apparently you, would read that as suggesting you and P, "are both boys, [so] we will agree"

"Boys will be boys" is, to use the theme of the thread, a very well known colloquialism (in the UK at least - I can't speak for other countries) used by both sexes to dismiss the bad behaviour of boys and men.

I realise here I'm just saying what has already been said but I'm backing up SirChenjins interpretation is how many people including me would read that post. Your interpretation of it as suggesting you are male wouldn't have crossed my mind in a million years.

Okay.

But you see that by reading the thread like everyone else!

People are responding to you on the thread.

The notifications you get are when people are doing that. It's not necessary to read them, and it's not spam.

It is spamming my notifications when I have twenty of them.

GlovedhandsCecilia · 13/04/2026 16:33

Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/04/2026 15:40

So can others 🤷‍♀️

Yes they can. I dont demand anyone reply to me

FlirtsWithRhinos · 13/04/2026 16:31

FWIW I don't think GlovedhandsCecilia is targeting or attempting to disrupt FWR specifically as her approach to other topics is similar. An idiosyncratic perspective rather than bad faith.

I believe there's quite the derail going on right now!

Just a bit!

Also posting to confirm that's my interpretation of what was posted too.

Because I want to know when someone has directly quoted me, within reason.

Nope its a way for me to use the site in a way that I enjoy. You aren't silenced. You can post what you want as many times as you want.

So you didn't write “Spoil it for yourselves" then?

It's a silencing tactic to deter us from replying to you, by your own words from earlier. We can see what you wrote earlier, and now you are trying to gaslight us about it.

I was the one who said it was banter so it was about how I interpreted Aida's comment. Then poster then.suggested that as we are both boys, we will agree.

If you're going to gaslight, at least be good at it.

SirChenjins · 13/04/2026 15:51

I did nothing of the sort @GlovedhandsCecilia

You're posting so often and getting so confused about what posts you're responding to that you're getting yourself tied up in knots.

Helleofabore · 13/04/2026 15:50

WearyAuldWumman · 13/04/2026 15:46

You don’t understand a very common colloquialism? That’s genuinely surprising.

Either that, or you’re trying to twist what was said.

It is not even SirChenjins who referring to.

WearyAuldWumman · 13/04/2026 15:50

I’m reminded of the kids at school who, when told to hand a form or the like to their mum, start screaming “Don’t you talk about my mum!” in the hope that the HT will overhear and misunderstand.

Have you confused the posters? Because what you have just written is not what SirChenjins said. The 'boy' in what SirChenjins post is clearly Aida, the person who made the rape suggestion in the first place.

Perhaps you need to stop personally attacking posters.

Reminder:

  • Finnish trial
  • TRA abusive language at FWR anniversary demo
  • Jennifer Melle has won a settlement that includes reinstatement and her NHS trust have published an acknowledgement that the TIM patient subjected her to unacceptable racial abuse
This uptick in bad faith posters is to distract us from these significant news items.
Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/04/2026 15:43

You’ll put your back out with these reaches if you aren’t careful.

Ive never identified as GC. I said I dont think TWAW. I dont identify with this "movement" of yours at all.

No.. we know. We understand.

You are here to tell us your opinion and then complain when people interact with your opinion. And generally seem keen to tell us how wrong we are without really giving any coherent reasons why.

We get it.

GlovedhandsCecilia · 13/04/2026 15:42

Helleofabore · 13/04/2026 15:33

Actually, it is interesting that you went straight to that as an interpretation.

This discussion isn't actually centred on you, despite what you think.

This is the post:

Threatening violent rape with a splintery rolling pin is just banter
Boys will be boys, eh?

I read it and understood that SirChejins was referring to a disturbing social dynamic of some people in general (not YOU) dismissing that rape threat. Do you have an issue with working out what is and is not something posted that directly refers to you?

I was the one who said it was banter so it was about how I interpreted Aida's comment. Then poster then.suggested that as we are both boys, we will agree.

I can post. I can also choose where and when to reply.

So can others 🤷‍♀️

DeanElderberry · 13/04/2026 15:39

A poster who has spent a day (or more?) making it clear that responses to their posts are unacceptable harassment then asking a question is being unreasonable.

I suggest taking the question itself to AIBU and polling what the overall reaction is.

It's like the person over the weekend who got very huffy when someone said their accusations of hysteria were in and of themselves misogynist, and demanded to be told where they had called anyone hysterical. Even though their very next post was an accusation of hysteria.

(can't remember whether it was older or newer but they were adjacent and both visible at the same time)

GlovedhandsCecilia · 13/04/2026 15:39

(I think we need to stop making sense of something nonsensical, everyone)

selffellatingouroborosofhate · 13/04/2026 15:37

GlovedhandsCecilia · 13/04/2026 15:30

Isn't tone policing. Telling you that I wont respond to you if I have more than 10 notifications is just me enforcing my boundaries. You can post what you want in whatever tone you want. I'm just telling you how you can get a response back from me.

You can enforce that boundary by turning your notifications off like everyone else does.

Posting and then trying to persuade others not to reply by claiming not to read replies if there are "too many" is a silencing tactic designed to shut down criticism of your gaslighting.

Calm down. It's a colloquialism (I know you like these) about the behaviour of boys and men - who is, on this thread, AidaP - and the quote about splintery rolling pins and fucking women with them that was referred tocame from his twisted little mind.
