Why was the Gaza toddler Sky News thread deleted, and which guidelines?

Hi MNHQ I was just on a thread about a wounded toddler in Gaza but there was a warning from a poster that it would soon be deleted, then lo and behold it was gone. Can you explain which guidelines were breached, as I'm mystified. It was just posters commenting on a story that's on Sky News and elsewhere.

AI comes with the disclaimer that it makes mistakes, so it's up to the user to further query any answers they think are inaccurate. What I like about ChatGPT is that it also provides the sources of its information, so the user can scrutinise them too.

AI comes with the disclaimer that it makes mistakes, so it's up to the user to further query any answers they think are inaccurate. What I like about ChatGPT is that it also provides the sources of its information, so the user can scrutinise them too.

Better to be safe than sued will be the order of the day, particularly when the new owners take over. I’m sure all sorts of topics and conversations will be sanitised and if people don’t like it then they can disappear off to Reddit.

In general, we encourage users to question the accuracy or reliability of sources, but that’s something for discussion on the thread rather than a moderation issue. We don’t remove posts on the basis that the source may be unverified, but we take this on a case-by-case basis.
