Why are the people emoji changing sex?

I have noticed the last few days that every time I post 🤷♀️, it is automatically changed to a boy !
im not alone apparently, what is happening here?
I sincerely hope that mn are not changing skintone on poc posters too!

No they are appearing automatically when they change my girl to a boy !
they don’t appear when I select boy!

Maybe the browser just doesn't support the plethora of modern emojis.

Though I can make a 'boy' one and surprised you can't. I think it might be a your phone problem.

Though FWIW I feel like the 'boy' one you posted could be either. It's a person with mid length hair.

For gods sake ! I tried changing skintone on the lady and they have changed her to a man too! , at least they did not change the skintone I suppose!

It seems they are changing both male and female to the androgynous one and then putting the sex marker on (to clarify?). Bizarre

Interesting. I put two different emojis and not only did it turn the girl one into a boy it also added in the sex ones which were not in my message
