Emoji reacts from Anonymous users

Why is this enabled? Are people who aren't logged in able to 'react'? I'm getting laugh emojis from anonymous user/s. Doesn't bother me, but I can imagine it might be upsetting, especially if someone is posting when fragile or seeking support. But anyway, you might like to look at this.

I hate this feature. It is far too easy to accidentally hit the button just while scrolling on the phone. Goodness knows how many inapprpriate reactions I might have left by accident.

So I just logged out and then logged in using Apple rather than my Log In details. And then I reacted with a thumbs up on your post. But I couldn’t continue with a comment unless I added a username. Which btw I could do at screen level - didn’t need to go to register/log in to do it.
So yeah, agree with OP. Not good. No monitoring.

That was me….

Right. I didn't even realise it was possible to log in without a username.

However it's being done, it can be, is being, and will be used as a form of petty abuse.

The button doesn't know if you did it by accident, why would that show as anonymous?

I'd say what happened is someone changed their user name to 'anonymous user'

No username comes up on Advanced search.
