Why aren’t you banning the far-right agitators?

Look at what was being widely reported about Prevent by national broadsheet newspapers earlier this year following the Shawcross review, a journalist (Fraser Nelson) who writes in the Spectator was branded as being far right by civil servants working for Prevent. I read his column every week: he is sensible, balanced and not far-right. There is a real danger to our as society, if political correctness causes us to be incapable of calling out jihadist and fundamental islamists for fear of being called racist. Go down that route and you will see the growth of the far-right as a reaction to censorship and accusations of islamophobia.

The OP has already confirmed that everything she reported was deleted. So MN clearly agreed that the content of the posts was racist. There shouldn't be any need for us to give examples so that you can argue the toss about whether or not they should have been left to stand.

And literally nobody is saying that "everyone is racist". They are merely that there are a lot of far right posters posting racist shit and asking MN to do more to tackle this.

No I'm asking for examples not screen shots or exact replicas.

For example - a poster discussing issues that happen in a persons home country then that person doing the same here - would be classed as racist by some. When in fact there is a valid correlation and normal for people to discuss.

If it was a post that was humiliating or degrading a person on the colour of their skin or ethnicity then - yes I agree it was racism.

But OP hasn’t give any indication what kind of posts or thread - just ‘racism’. Or even if posts were actually deleted.

I don’t buy in to the narrative that everyone is racist or every one is far right on here because MN is typically left wing. This is not X and posts get shut down pretty quick IME

Depends how you define "worst". Explicit antisemitism then yes, definitely the far right and especially historically. The far left's is more insidious and coded, but is spreading like a wildfire and becoming more explicit. A lot of Jews would say it is presently a worse threat than antisemitism from the right. I mean, you have far left folks out on the streets showing support to terrorist groups like the Houthis whose official slogan is "curse the Jews". So I'd say that's a pretty dangerous place we find ourselves in with the far left.

Well, that's for MN to judge, isn't it? If they don't agree that it's racist, then they won't delete it.

It seems that what you're actually asking for here is for posters to post the racist bile that they reported and that MNHQ subsequently deleted so that you can explain to us why you don't think it's racist after all?

@BeckyAMumsnet there is a problem with inconsistent moderation at times. Sometimes the racist/right wing disinformation posts will be zapped, other times we will be told we should "challenge" them.

Those threads last night were an absolute cesspit.

I reported countless comments and the threads stood for hours afterwards. After almost 15 years I’m ready to disable my account here.

Why on earth would anyone want to repeat racist bile that they have reported so that it can be deleted?

Agree. The threads last night were awful and some posters seemed to be copying and pasting lies they'd seen on X with a heavy side helping of outright racism. It's like Combat 18 have discovered Mumsnet in the last few weeks and have descended.

I do feel a bit like there needs to be a greater awareness of terms used amongst the Far Right that are , for example, anti semitic tropes as they rely on them not being spotted and so feel very smug.
These tropes are as much a Far Left problem too, as the Conflict board will attest to. The same few posters have been stirring up hatred for ages now with the use of tropes and coded language. Multiple deleted posts or reports rarely seem to make a difference, and they just carry on ad infinitum.
