As the others have helpfully said, yes, you're able to start a new thread with a different username. Just go to Settings and your account page - https://www.mumsnet.com/settings/account, type in a new name and hit the Save button. That name will then be registered to your account and you can use either name for future posts.

@CheeryDeer we've withdrawn your post from this thread as we can see you've managed to start a thread of your own by now.
