It seems to me, quite cynically, that MN are looking for this thread to turn into a bunfight so it can be deleted because a thread about the levels of bigotry/ignorance/prejudice is bad for the brand! We really need to stay on topic and it’s not hard. Just this week as well as Disabled People Need To Get Off Benefits we’ve also had Disabled People Shouldn’t Expect Anyone To Give Them A Job. The irony is apparently lost on those posters.

I am posting information I think is helpful, and for discussion.

You are relentlessly wanting a 'debate about benefits' which is off topic - there are eleventy billion threads about benefits on AIBU/Chat/Politics/News etc - not on Site Stuff

In the interim, I will say this - I reiterate that I have no intention of ‘goading’, and I am posting information I think is helpful, and for discussion. Many of you posted about cooking and menus - how is that relevant to the thread topic, incidentally?

Again, what is stopping you posting your own thread elsewhere? Why are you targeting this thread for your comments about benefits.

This thread is about disability hate on MN... not benefits, not the government, and not the welfare system. You keep trying to derail this thread, and are repeatedly asked not to. Why are you not listening?
