Banner advert in the app

Hi MNHQ,

There's a banner ad appearing in the ap (at the top) that makes the app visually really annoying to navigate. Will it be there permanently? It would be less bad at the bottom! Thanks!

Please please get rid of this. Or if you must have an advert, make it stationary. It's too hard to read text when you have a moving flashing thing at the top of your phone screen.

It's awful. Really poor for such a basic app. No proper search function but massive flashing banners.

It's barely usable

I had a camping one earlier. They're really advertising to the wrong person here!

I've seen it, I don't need to see it multiple times FFS.

The combination of the (permanent) new ad at the top of the app plus ad that you get as you scroll through the posts means that more than half of the screen is now taken up with ads Hmm

Who is it that app uses get the worst deal. No voting, no thank you button, shite ads, shite search function, and no direct access to private messages. I don't use a laptop or PC at all, just my phone, and I don't see why we should miss out on features.

Same here, annoying ad at the top that I've accidentally clicked on a couple of times. I'm on the app on my iPad. Guess it will help me cut down on my time on Mumsnet.

I have this too. Moving ads are a nightmare for me. They trigger migraines. Please make it stop.
