Please can we have a topic that I can hide, where people can ask all about poo (maybe call that one BumsNet) and blood and all other manner of bodily fluids and afflictions.

I'm getting queasy as I get older and some of the thread titles make me feel sick. 🤢

I am shamelessly bumping my own thread. Partly because sine replies on another thread have made me think that others would like a separate topic too 🙃

Thank you 😊 I've got an aversion to the word discharge and don't want to know if people want others to look at their poo to check if they have blood, worms, or any other unsavoury (or sweet depending on what they've eaten) item in it.

This way, we could hide the whole topic.

Yes from me. I’m not normally in favour of creating yet another topic which threads won’t be moved into from AIBU/chat but I’m sick of seeing threads with photos of people’s genitals, poo and blood clots.

I would worry that putting all bum related photos in one section would attract unsavoury types as it will make it easier to find the bum pictures. But I suppose if people are that way they will find them anyway and it's a risk you take putting them on the Internet.

So I support this motion. For bums, blood and various discharges perhaps.

Haha! thank you 😊 I'd say there's plenty more where that came from but I'd be lying!

I'll definitely be reporting in future but I do hope people see this and agree with me that a separate topic would be useful 🙃

Hi there @TheChippendenSpook .

Firstly, well done. We can't believe no one has thought of 'Bumsnet' before and it has cheered our Monday morning no end!

We would usually expect people to make it clear in a thread title if the contents of a thread is not 'breakfast friendly' so do report threads that don't do that and we can always edit a title to make that clear. We also ask people to mark photos as sensitive so they don't appear full screen on your phone as you're scrolling. We do see your point though and it's definitely worth some thought. As always, we'd want to hear from others, too, in order to know that a board like this would be well used, as well as able to be hidden, so we'll keep reading here.

If anyone else thinks this would be a good idea or, more to the point, if anyone would actively use a 'bodily fluids' type thread themselves, do let us know here.
